About kailatilear

  • Birthday 02/08/1973
  1. My 17 yr old daughter just asked for some for Christmas.
  2. My daughter is asking for something knitted from Mrs. Clause :eek:and a thank you note from Santa for the cookies with a list of the elves names:rolleyes:. In the past she has asked for a flag and flag pole a box of her own mail and a mail box for her room. She finally got her box of mail and I am trying to come up with ideas for the something knitted since I do not knit and don't know anyone that does.

  4. I planned on getting to WM by 11:30, however, I overslept and didn't wake up until 3am, due to being up all night the night before with my sick dd. Oh well, didn't need any of the big ticket items. Got everything I went for except the waffle maker, got there at 4:00 and was out by 4:45. Headed to the mall, went to Old Navy, got dd a pair of jeans, then to American Eagle, Charlotte Rouse and Bath & Body, no lines at all. Headed over to another mall about 20 miles away, stopped by TRU didn't get anything there, was just in checking to see what they had left. Other mall, hit VS got dd everything she wanted there. Came back to my town, hit Kohls, Target and Lowes. Never waited more than 5 min in any line. It was an amazing low key and easy black friday.
  5. My daughter had to have the touch and brush, she loves it, by the way she's only 8 and a seen it on tv nut. She wants the muddy putty, but not happening. I have the burger slider thing. The kids have snuggies, she is getting a pillow pet. Love the mop thing. I could do her whole Christmas with seen it on tv stuff and she would be so happy.
  6. Thank you!!!! I just got my hubby a pair for $21.00 total. Can't get Levi's cheaper than that.

Is there anyway to find out her size? I agree with the PJ's, slippers and lotions. Mabye some nice smelling candles so she can light in the evening in her new pj's when the kids go to sleep. A good book. Eat, pray, love is awsome for any woman. Some flavored coffee's or tea in a nice coffee mug. Mabye do a basket with the lotions and some body wash, a new bath poof. Some nice gloves or warm fuzzy socks. Just some ideas of some things I know I like and would love to get. Oh and mabye you could do a cleaning basket for her also. Laundry basket with the laundry soap, tp, paper towels, fabric softener, bleach, dish liquid, some new dish towels, windex, things we normally just take for granted to clean our house. And mabye a gift card to a grocery store or restaurant for her to take her girls out to dinner and mabye have a special night that they probaby don't get very often. Even if it's Mickey D's.
  8. My store was at 90% today when we went. I got 2 bags of peanut m&m's for .67 each, one big bag of snickers, milky way and 3 musketeer's for $1.74 and a big bag of reese pb cups, hershey bars and whoppers for $1.74, a glass piggy bank for .99 and two kids cups for .19 each. I saved over $33.
  9. This is sad, I always sent my children letters there. It's sad that our world is coming to this.
  10. My walmart is crazy in the morning, but by mid afternoon to late evening it's calmed way down and half of the time alot of the door busters are still left. Of course, not the tv's or electronics, but other stuff, usually household stuff and clothing are still there a few days later with the door buster price.
  11. It is also a tough year for my family too. I went back to school this past fall, all while losing my job. We do have my husbands income, which isn't much when you consider there is 6 of us. We just had to move the end of August and other things have happened. My kids are 15, 13 and 7, the older ones understand the younger one still believes. Santa is bringing her an arts and crafts this year. Cheap and simple. She is very artistic and loves her art. She wanted the fur real lulu cat, but I'm sorry I can't afford the $40 for something to end up in her closet. The older 2 know that they will be getting a couple of things and that's it. Usually I have probably 100 or more presents under the tree just for the kids:eyepoppin, not including the adults. My husband and I have decided that we are not exhanging gifts this year as well. We are all happy and healthy and going back to school is a huge gift in itself.
  12. One wants a laptop One wants a wii I want black friday just for me
  13. My 7 year daughter is asking for a snuggie and that touch n brush. However, for 4 years now she has asked for a box of mail, yep a box of her own mail, a flag pole and a mail box for her bedroom. She is getting the box of mail again this year. Last year she got the mailbox.
  14. As a family we go out to a late lunch on Christmas Eve. Then home around 3 or 4, sometimes a little later. We then open up one gift (pjs), this year I also bought a game to play for that night. Nick Scene it. The kids will love it. Through out the evening we track Santa and watch Christmas movies.
