So if i am a 45 year old single parent with 2 young kids and can't get up that early to wait to get a ticket for a wii, you think it's wrong for me to pay a kid to go stand in line for me to get it.

Is anything that people are willing to pay for ok then, in your opinion? Does the fact that somebody is willing to pay for it make it a good thing to do without any other consideration?
That question would then be answered by saying are any laws being broken. Why can't i pay someone to go wait in line for me. how about a group of people tag teaming, one stays the other leaves for a little while, comes back and the next leaves.

I look at it this way....taxes and all that aside. I would rather pay someone to cut my lawn than spend 2 hours on a weekend doing it myself. So yes I don't have a problem with someone spending 3-4 hours in line to get a wii or some ticket to a big item just to turn around and sell it. That person's time is worth money. Would I pay extra for that...Not a chance. But do I think it's ok....sure, if it wasn't ok, people wouldn't pay the money they do. Just my opinion

A lot of times you can ask for stuff, like free channels for several months, free dvr equipment, things like that, the only catch will be that you will need to do like a one year agreement.

got to toysrus about 2:30, didn't want the zune but i was about 15th in line, they only had 8 and a lot of people were pissed.
I was very happy, got what i wanted plus they opened early at 4:20 instead of 5. done there at 4:30.

ok here's my beef with walmart. My 10 year old son wants the power tour guitar. i've seen it as low as 59. walmart has it for like 48 on black friday. so i went to the site to look at it. price was 38 bucks now, free shipping. Go figure. saved me a trip to walmart. yahoooo.

Last year I remember people getting bundles then returning the games they didn't want at regular price, so they ended up getting the system at the normal price. Something to atleast check into.

Well then I am the Queen of Mean because I don't put out ANY of my kids' gifts under the tree until after they have gone to bed on Christmas Eve - or left for their dad's house.
Same way, nothing under the tree until xmas eve when everyone is asleep. what's funny is i hide stuff in their own closets.

The only thing I like is the Carrie Underwood CD for $7.99. Not sure if I'll go for a cd.

My kmart hasn't had Wii's in for weeks, wonder if they've been stockpiling for this. Yes that is a good deal on Carrie's cd, but not worth the crazyiness

I found something on shoesontheweb, then ordered online through endless. Once the order processes and hits your credit card there is a link to match the sight. you have to place the order on endless's website, they didn't do it over the phone. I would assume they would only match the same styles. I think sports authority had some for 35 dollars the other day. You might be able to find other styles that you like there.
