  1. Your absolute best bet would be to go to the Customer Service Desk as soon as possible and ask them if they will price adjust their own prices on BF. If they shoot you down then show them the corporate policy and maybe they will change their mind. If they say that they will price adjust then go buy your stuff today and get the adjustment on BF. Ultimately it is up to management as to if that particular Target store will or will not price adjust. You won't know until you ask. Remember, I am talking about "price adjusting" Target items NOT "price matching". Two totally different things.
  2. No need to go to all the trouble PDF'ing an email response. Most of Target's email responses are pre-scripted canned responses anyways. Just go HERE, print it out and take it with you. That is the corporate policy on price adjusting. Hopefully you can make it work in your favor.
  3. Their corporate "price adjustment" policy on their website says differently. Probably not worth fighting over though. I hope you snag one on BF.
  4. Cremer, go to Customer Service and ask them. If they say that they will price adjust on BF then buy the TV today. Simple as that. Every Target store will probably tell you something different regarding price adjustment's. Just be sure to ask at the store you plan on going to.
  5. Yeah that kinda bites. This is how I would get around it. You will need a friend to pull this off. Have a friend with a cart with all of your stuff in it. Choose item(s) that would put you over the $100 mark and go check out. Drop that stuff of in your car. Go back to your friend and do the same thing again with a different cashier - rinse and repeat. It would be a pain but it is doable. The thing that has me confused is the rules state "Limit one Giftcard per qualifiying transaction, per guest". Does that mean that if you bought an item that had it's own giftcard (like the blu-ray player) would you get both the $10 over $100 purchase gift card AND the $30 bonus gift card or could you only claim one or the other?
  6. Yeah, Target is known for their policies varying from store to store. The same thing happens when using coupons. One Target will accept your coupons with no questions asked while another Target will place limits on how many you can use. Sad but true.
  7. I think you only get 1 $10 gift card per transaction that goes over $100 dollars. If you break up your transactions into $100 increments then you could get more than one gift card. If you have a friend with you then you could hand off part of your purchases to them and do it that way.
  8. I've heard of that happening. I heard it has something to do with the US timezones and how the BF price updates are uploaded to the stores. Some stores in some timezones are still open when the next days price goes into effect. In other words, you get tomorrows BF prices the day prior.
  9. Txgurl, the Target website says that Lake Jackson and Pearland Target's have them in stock. Go buy it now if possible!
  10. I hear ya Kathi, I would go HERE and do a lookup to see if your Target has them in stock. If they got it in stock then print out the copy and take it to the store. Better yet, call up your Target and ask them to "check item availability" and give them the DCPI number (which is 008-09-0773) and ask if that item is available. If so, go to the store and get it. Relay to the associate that you were told that it was in stock. Or you could just wait in line on BF. :)
  11. Hey Kathi, buy your stuff now and print THIS info out and take it with you on BF to get your price adjustment. Target can't just make up policies as they go. Here is the bottom line on price adjustments. 1. Price adjustments can be done either on the same week or the week following your purchase. 2. You must have your receipt (or get them to look it up). 3. You must price match during the sale (i.e. during BF) 4. The item you are adjusting cannot be a clearance item. Target policy makes no mention of not being able to price adjust just because they are having a special 2 day sale. Hope that helps.
  12. Picked mine up with no problems. The display model was there as usual but all of the LCD TV stock was in the back. Be prepared to ask and associate to get you the Westy LCD because I doubt any stock will be sitting out on the shelves.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I am buying it today.
  14. I went to my Target and asked about getting a price adjustment on BF. They said as long as I am within the 14 day window and I bring my receipt during the BF sale then they would gladly price adjust. That's how I be buying the 32" Westy LCD without waiting in line.
  15. Absolutely. If it doesn't work out then I get 100% of my money back. I did the price adjustment last year at Target and had no problems. Hopefully this year it will be the same.
  16. I am buying the 32" LCD this Sunday. Then go back and get a price adjust on BF. No waiting in line for me.
  17. kselzer is absolutely right. HERE is Target's official in-store price adjustment policy.
  18. As far as the Westinghouse 32" LCD goes - it must be the SAME LCD that will go on sale on BF in order for the price adjustment to work. It may be a different model on BF that is released. No one is 100% if both the in-store model and BF model are one in the same yet.
  19. Disregard what I posted earlier. You get 7 days price adjustment if you buy from target.com In-store purchases get 2 weeks for price adjustments. Sorry for the confusion.
  20. Found out that Target will price adjust only 7 days after your purchase! So hold off on your purchase till the 20th.
  21. Called Target and the 32" Westy that is listed on their website is model number: SK-32H640G The specs for that model is indeed up to 1080i. Soooo, the only thing that matches between the adscan and the website is the "before/after" price of $429. Guess I am going to go the buy/return route.
  22. I got on Froogle and researched all the Westinghouse 32" 1080i (1366X768) models I could find. The average price of these units are $700. I find it hard to believe that Target is selling a 32" 1080i Westy for only $429. I will call up Target and get the Westy model number off the box on the one that is listed on their website and see if the specs jive.
  23. I think it is the same because of the price that is quoted. The BF ad says the Westy is normally sold for $429. The 32" Westy on target.com is sold at the exact same $429 price. I saw that 1080i spec as well and this wouldn't be the first time that Target.com posted incorrect data on TV specs. I honestly think that it is the same TV. If you read the adscan - the Westy isn't even a doorbuster. The Apex is, but not the Westy. That leads me to believe that the Westy is not some mysterious model that Target is going to release only on BF. The only surefire way of knowing would be to either wait for a better adscan so the catalog number is legible or wait for the actual ad to be published. Either way I am going to pick this up and hope it is the same. If it turns out that it isn't then I will simply return it.
  24. Exactly! I forgot about that. It appears you can pick up the Apex LCD prior to BF as well.
  25. You don't have to wait at all for BF. Target is selling this unit right now. Go buy it, then come back during BF and get a price adjustment. Easy peezy. You can even check availability for this LCD HERE
