  1. They didn't have any of that stuff left at my DG, but I did get a bunch of cute stockings for .20 each (cheap gift bags!), 5 small brush trees, 3 wired ribbon, 4 sets of fancy bows, a table runner and some candle plates. 4 bags full for $6+. Since DG is the only 'variety' store in my small town, I felt pretty lucky to get what I did! And there's still quite a bit left for some other lucky shopper.
  2. My nearest Target is 1 1/2 hours away, so I don't get to go too often. Mostly I just come here and drool over what you guys find there! LOL. I did get to go Saturday, tho and loaded up on the Shutterfly 8x8 (3), 8 1/2 x 11 (2) and calendars (4). Since someone had issues, I'll go ahead and put it on the internet so I can deal with any problems now. Even at 'only' 50% off, these seem to be an excellent deal, as they also include free S&H! That makes the deal very sweet, as shipping is normally $6.99 for one book! Of course, 75% off would be awesome, but the odds of them being there on the rare day I get to visit are not good, so, I'm happy!
  3. I've been fooling around with this and there definitely are some savings to be had! The sites I checked (Shoes.com & zappos) do limit you to one price adjustment on one pair of shoes per month, so keep that in mind before you go too crazy!
  4. Thanks! I'm a sucker for bathsheets. These got mostly rave reviews so I'm crossing my fingers, cause I just ordered six of them! :) Using code 3ZB (exp. 2-23-08) worked best for me. It gave me flat $.99 shipping for any order of $20+. Otherwise, shipping for this order would have been $7.95, so I gained about $1.
  5. There is a lot more stuff here now (in my size, anyway:)), but everything I ordered that's still in stock would cost a bit more now than it did then. I'm a little perturbed to see a jacket that disappeared out of my cart and out of stock in my size is now back in stock... phooey. Like I said, it would cost a little more now, but I may still have to consider it, cause it's so cute! Wish there was a coupon code to use, but I couldn't find one. BTW, my first order shows it was shipped on 1/3 from Atlanta. Hasn't made it to VA yet, though.
  6. I was just coming to post this! Hope I can get to the store before the 13th.
  7. Dang. I swore I wasn't gonna do this, but... I got $164.94 worth (2 sweaters, a skirt and 2 tops) at outlet prices. ($385 regular retail) for $60.32 shipped! How could I resist....?
  8. Had to get the Marines globe for M&Fil. He's a WWII Marine and she collects musical 'things'. Perfect! Can't beat 8.95 shipped!
  9. Man, a lot of those trees went fast Guess they didn't have my name on them! The Just Cut Trees were really a good deal and the ones with free shipping ... wow! No wonder they went fast!
  10. Wow. I'm so sorry about the troubles some of you are having with buy.com. Like amez74, I have ordered many times and had no trouble. I did have 2 separate experiences where the stupid UPS people lost/misplaced the order, but buy.com submitted the claims and I received replacement items quickly. One of these claim situations was even done entirely by e-mail. It was handled fast and the outcome was as good as I could hope for. I really can't say a bad word about them. I've gotten all my rebates - everything. In fact, buy.com is on my very short list of trusted places from which to order electronics. I'm sorry it has not gone so well for you guys.
  11. Very weird, but when I went back, they came up 4.99. Thanks for the tip, noehlp
  12. got 3 of the lady sets at Walmart tonight with the refill coupons. The checkout lady was afraid the coupons wouldn't work with the computer, but they went thru fine. These are nice! And a whale of a good deal as stated above. Actually, it's a really good deal without benefit of coupons. I haven't decided about my 3 razor coupons... might do CVS or another Walmart. Today's walmart only had lady sets and I'd like to see a man's.
  13. We saw Wicked In NYC last December and paid QUITE a bit more for the privilege. Our seats weren't nearly so good as yours but we loved it anyway. Enjoy!
  14. oh man. I missed this awesome deal debating how many to order. Shoot. Hope it comes back!
  15. Thanks! I ordered a couple things with the 20% off code. FYI, codes will not stack and the 10 off of 50 can't be used with any other codes either. Still, a good deal on something I needed!
  16. Day 4 Deal: Super Deluxe Sling Pack: was $29.00, now $14.00 Single crossover strap evenly distributes loads Cord port plus storage pocket for MP3 player and earphones Designed for ages 15 and up http://www.llbean.com/bin/holidayCountdown/index.cgi?&feat=hp
  17. FYI, I discovered I can qualify for EPP pricing & discounts because my husband is a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Woohoo! All I had to do was put in his membership #! We never even knew that before, and we've always bought Dell computers. But at least we know now!
  18. I'm confused. It says you can only get this discount if your employer has a deal with Dell. How are you guys doing it? What do you put where it asks what company you work for? (a required field). I'd love the discount, but don't want to screw it up.
  19. I think it just started today, but they will give it to you for Monday order. I got mine. :)
  20. Cool! Thanks for posting this. I had just placed a $60 order Monday, but I called and customer service is sending a $10 card. LLBean does have great service, but without this post I wouldn't have known to call and they weren't going to volunteer!
  21. For the record, my cheap walmart appliances (3.88) have all worked great, too! I've bought several of the crockpots (gave some away), the mixer and the iron they used to sell. The iron was great... has held up much better than the 100.00 iron it replaced! It's even been dropped! I wish they still offered those on BF. And I know I read that someone really loved their chopper. I guess there can be duds in everything, but my experience has been great.
  22. my dd is 18, too. :) And a college freshman. She thinks it will be cool for taking notes in class to transfer to computer and especially for doing her spanish homework (she's just started taking spanish so beginner should be beginner, right? even tho it is a college class). I know about that 'meant to be' feeling, too. DD just discovered fly over thanksgiving break and fell in love with it. The next day I come here and there are multiple great deal opportunities listed for fly. Must be 'meant to be.' lol
