That how it used to be. In fact, last year in order to get the $199 dollar laptop from BB or CC (I can't remember which one), you had to sign up for a year of Aol.Now because of strong competiton, looks like they have removed that requirement.

You are right, usually you have to sign up for years of Aol and send in numerous rebates.

No, I wasn't saying that the one that Wal-mart sold last year was a refurbished one, I was saying that for one to be $199 that it would probably be the same one from last year only refurbished.

I figured that if they really do have a laptop for $199 it probably be just like the one that they had last year (256mb etc...) REFURBISHED!!!

Girl, you know your post just tickled me!!! I learned a couple of years ago that when doing BF, DON'T USE SHOPPING CARTS!! Other shoppers will actually use them to block you off. I have learned to scope out a cart on the sideline (because when BF starts it will be a virtual shopping cart graveyard!), rush and get what I want, and run back to a cart. I actually think BF is getting bigger every year....but I love it!

I did not see anything about a card reader, but it is still a great deal. If it is going to be the same one for $298 it is even a better deal. If it is not the same laptop for $298, it will probably have even less stuff on it.

But what if they made all they needed to make throughout the year and did not put all they had out? What if they only put out 40-50 per store, but actually had 80-100 made? I think it is possible for it to be that same one, but I don't think it will be. Something ( maybe a smaller hard drive or memory) will be different. Walmart wants to have the best deal but they also want to make money. When customers see a $298 laptop, they may not pay much attention to specs just price.

Man I hope that is true!!! The laptop that I bought the other day is in layaway and if I get it for $100 off, that would be friggin' awesome!!!!!

That $249.99 price might have been just to hold your pre-order and when they actually ship your PS3, they will charge the rest to your account.Or they may just cancel it.

Got me two of these babies today!! They are much nicer than I expected and they swivel. I did not know that they came with a headrest kit until I bought it. Femalesliealot....YOU ROCK!!! :)
