I don't think it is a TOTAL fake, I just believe that they left some stuff out on purpose and that the prices may not be completely right. I think they might actually add some more items (including a cheaper laptop) and drop some of the prices like they did last year.

So the one that CC is offering is the "worst" out of thr three??? I figured so, why else would they offer it for $99. WM is sort of like the next runner up, but the hard drive is smaller, it does not burn dvds, and it costs more. I heard getting a dvd burner in a laptop is not easy to do youself. I like everything about the BB computer (except waiting in the cold). I am gonna check out what Staples and Office Depot have to offer (I refuse to even look at Comp USA...I just can't go to all of them!). So far BB is the winner unless something changes. It not fair....I have a SP but I want a DS lite!! But I also want a laptop! Too much to choose from!! I looked a the micro, but it to small for my eyes. I am not ready to get my son portable gaming systems juuuust yet. But I get them all the time!

Yes is is a good price, but it is sooo small for a 6 year old. CC will have the SP for $49.99 and it is the perfect size for a smaller child, plus WM will price match. And I just noticed that the SP will be avilable on CC.com. But if he takes good care if his toys, then it might be o.k. for him.

I have a question....out of all of the processors being offered, which is the best for a laptop?? AMD, Celeron M, or Intel Core Solo? Basically which is fastest?

It actually is. How old is your son? The micro is a very small gaming system. If he is a younger child, he might need the SP or DS, which is bigger.

My neice used to love the "push" of the crowd (she was over 400lbs and pushes back didn't affect her)! At our Wal-mart, the manager gets on the top of a display and blows an air horn, once this happens the "push" begins.

Yeah.....but you are not a home office official. Most of the associates are still unaware what is "going down" for BF. I believe that bigger and better prices are coming. And the bottom line is that what home office wants....home office gets.

Mine is in layaway until December 8th, so I get so see all of the goodies and then make mt decision. I know for sure I am not going through what all CC wants you to go through to get a $99 laptop (I hate a lot of rebates!). We'll have to see want everyone has to offer before making a final choice.

Under the store specific forum, one lady claims her sil said that Wal-mart actually did leak the ad so that everyone would get off of their backs. She also claims that a couple of days before BF, Wal-mart is going to drop a REALLY big bomb against the competition!

What if Walmart intentionally did not put a laptop in the "leaked" BF paper, so that people who have bought one from them already won't know until it is too late to take them back!! Some people might look at the one from BB and say well it is not that big of difference so I'll keep mine. While in the mean time Wal-mart is waiting for the 15 day return period to run out before they put out the entire ad. IT IS A CONSPIRACY I TELLS YA!!!! Just playin'.......or am I.....

That is exactly how I feel! I kinda want the rocker and a couple of toys, but if I don't get them...oh well! I have seen about eight things that I want a BB and three I want at CC. I am really getting antsy about Target and Staples.

I like the SP better.Mainly because of the flip down cover. But out of all of them, the Nintendo Ds Lite is the best. Out of the Nintendo products that is!

That how it used to be. In fact, last year in order to get the $199 dollar laptop from BB or CC (I can't remember which one), you had to sign up for a year of Aol.Now because of strong competiton, looks like they have removed that requirement.
