Laptops and CPU fro Best Buy!

Why such a dark attitude? I had a really good time camping out, but I do agree that something needs to be done. I think that it should be illegal to be able to line up before a certain set time. Like midnight or something. Or risk getting a pretty hefty trespassing ticket and ejected from the lot. Maybe if people knew that they could not be there until a certain time, it would cut down on people trying to get there earlier and earlier to beat other people. I also think that the lot and line should have a police presence. Our line, (not me) got shot up by water guns (keep in mind it was 30 degrees outside), called bi$%^es, called bas$%#ds, shot the bird, and dirty nasty looks all night long. So if the no trespass thing doesn't come about, the police lookout should. It was still fun......:)

The people at my Best Buy did the same thing!! I ended that by yelling out WTF !!! They all stopped the "auction" style way of handing out the tickets and got it together.

Hey gurl! You really did go early if you beat that crowd! Me and my husband were there, we were #4 and #5. I meant to yell and find out if you were there, but we were having sooo much fun up front that I totally forgot! You probably saw us, we were in the white van parked in the handicap space. We had the black table set up with the blankets on it. My husband was #5 and they tried that "$249 laptop are sold out" crap with us too. Oddly enough there was one right behind the counter with Rachel Ware's name on it. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he was able to give it to me with 10% off for my trouble. I mean come on....I had been there since the day before! Anyway, we had a great time and I will probably do it again next year. Next time I will remember to bring heat!!:) P.S. Did you see the high skateboarder! I probably could have watched him all night. He even offered the young man up front a hit of weed! Happy Holidays!!!

Can ya tell I am excited!!

I was thinking 10pm, buuut now I don't know. There is a thread about people lining up since yesterday!! I am fully prepared to do what I have to do to get my laptop. I have blankets, body warmers, toe warmers, hand warmers, snacks, batteries, tv (cheap one), and a tent (just in case!). I am thinking Hoover also, That way I can be close to Brunos (bathroom!), if they are 24 hours it will be perfect. I just came from there and no one is in line (whew!). Happy Thanksgiving!

I just had to say something, no one was representin'!! The folks from the "Durty" know what I am talking bout'! Besides, I need something to do to keep my mind from wondering. I am trying to go to BB now and skip dinner! I am also trying to stay awake so I won't miss the X-Box on Amazon.

Yeah...I mean, did you see the BB PS3 stampede! I thought that was a mess. They said those people started coming all out of the bushes, cars....sky! No waiting in line, they just shot by all the other people (some of whom had been waiting for days). Even the police were in over their head. All I keep seeing over and over was this one lady (Asian I think), who started walking and then just was pushed to the ground. No one offered help, instead they jumped over her! So yeah...ropes and tickets....that is the best way to go!

Heck, I thinking about 5 hours also. You ARE new to this!! That small 1-2 hour difference will make a BIG difference. Like 20-30 people! If you are new to this....get ready for a bumpy ride!

Academy Sports (and other places I am sure) sales the FOOTWARMERS heat pad. It is an actual insole that covers the padding of the foot. They also carry the Toe Warmers and the both last up to 8 hours. I am picking up a ski cap ( the ones that you can see only the eyes) and regular goggles (to keep the air from tearing and drying out my eyes). If I am going to stand in 35 degree cold for 10+ hours, I want to be ready!:)
