Shorter in stores. I had to be in line hours ahead of BB opening last year at 12 am, which you have to do anyway but something was just ...off. Then had to stand in the check out line(s) until 4 am just because of my big purchases. Large screen tvs and pcs/laptops had to be paid for in their departments. By then I was spent and passed out sleep about 6 that morning. Everything after that was online only shopping. I would normally be pumped and ready for shopping if I am just starting at 5 am. I am also not crazy about carrying out electronics and expensive purchases while its still pitch black dark. When you start at 5 am usually its light out when you are done. And if you are store hopping you have to leave all the items in you car in hopes that no one sees what you put in the truck or followed you to your car. I really enjoyed the 5 am start time and have done so for years. But as with all things I'll adjust and change...but I am not happy about it.

Some, including Paper Mario Wii, are also online for the same price with $.99 cent shipping before tax.

I ordered several things online from BB last year during the early RZPS sales event, Thanksgiving Day and BF sales that came with gift cards. My gift cards either came with the ordered item or later and they come UPS and USPS. So there is no set way they come to you but you do get gift cards sent to you from online for the promotions.

I am looking for a 3DS also, but I am a little disappointed in the 3DS choice this year. First of all I was hoping for a deal on the 3DS XL ( such as a free GC or game) and there is no deal on it at all. Second of all the bundle mentioned on BF includes a downloaded game and I prefer to have an actual game cart and case if possible. IDK....I may grab one just in case another deal doesnt come along, but we'll see.

I was able to buy online and pick up in my local Walmart today.

I know Best hat Buy will send you the promo GC when ordered online. I have never had a problem with them sending the GC. But I found out the hard way TRU doesnt. Last year I missed out on a $60 GB and free Mario stylus when ordering the 3DS from them online because of this issue. It wasnt stated online that the offer was "store only" so I jumped in all excited and when I got my order there was no GC in the box. It was only when I called to complain did they tell that it was a store only offer and now that the deal was over, I dont qualify for it. Still trying to decide on the regular 3DS or the 3DS XL. The deals will probably make the choice for me.

I actually dont think this is the best deal you will get on these this holiday season. Last year TRU was offering at least one game and a $60 gift card with purchase and Target offered a $50 gift card plus an additional $10 gift card with coupon. I am also looking for a 3DS deal this year and I am definitely holding out to I see an awesome deal like last year.

I ordered the DDR about 5 minutes ago...I sure hope its really there. I....err...um...the kids have been wanting one for a while.
