I have had several health issues, then both my children had life changing issues so my Christmas living room was never taken down. I look at it as one less room I need to decorate well as soon as the extra furniture from my kids is removed

I have received my SS package. Apologies have not been on much really havent done much. I sent a PM just now. My house isn't eve decorated yet but I am sure it will find a way to get it down

I have to be thankful I am still here among you and everyone else. On 10/7 I went to the hospital with blood pressure of 198/110. The discover after a cat-scan I had a brain bleed. Air lifted to a hospital 1.5 hours away to the ICU in Critical condition. After an anagram they discovered the bleed had stopped and I was discharged on the 10th. Returned to work 10/14. I am so grateful I was given a second chance . Two many things I still need to do in this life. So when they say huge your love ones because you don't know when the unexpected will happen. Take my word believe them. I am thankful I am still here on this earth

It was the first time at Lowes on Friday for a sale, I got 4 plants at .50 and a Christmas tree in and out in 10 minutes

For the past 30 years we have always had a real tree, we have gone out in the cold looking for it and cutting it down. This year with half my children having their own families and not being here. One is in Germany with his family stationed there in the Air Force. The other is staying in Indiana with her partner. The two younger ones are in College and have busy schedules. So I learned a lot about fake trees, lights points and what not and looked at trees in the store but none were what I like. Plus I have a hard time with change. Yesterday morning I went to Lowes and bought this one still deciding if I am in love but it's growing one me and first time tree is up day after Thanksgiving and will decorate around it. It came in three pieces branches attached, over 3000 points and it was on sale

I cook every year for my elderly residents in one of the apartment communities I manage. This is the 22nd year of doing this. They will have an appetizer or two Turkey Ham mashed tators sweet potatoes casserole Mac and Cheese stuffing 2 kinds green been casserole corn Casserole Carrots rolls Gravy and several desserts Pumpkin cheesecake pie Banana blueberry pie caramel banana pie Pilgrim hat cookies plain ole pumpkin pie Residents are suppose to make a dish to pass but that never really happens since they are on a fixed budget This always takes place the Weds before Thanksgiving. Then Thursday I will do the family that menu is slightly different
