  1. TRU buy 2 get one free sale is on now...just snagged the Wii Sims Agent game as my freebie! :)
  2. Okay I just duplicated an order because I found another site listing these two coupons... Coupon code 931085 to get $10 off of orders that are $75 or more. Coupon code 931081 takes $15 off for orders that are $150 or more So, I'll just return the first order after it arrives.
  3. Can't find the info, so I'll ask here...trying to order 6 games and only getting one showing up free in the cart...only good for 1 deal?
  4. I'm waiting for that sale as well...my son is going gaga over the MySims Agents game as well.
  5. About 5 yrs ago I ventured to the local Walmart at about 10pm to see how things would go come midnight...they had pallets of all the super sale stuff stacked up in the aisles...and people were lined up inside the store at each pallet. I turned around and decided I didn't need anything THAT much because I could see the 15 DVD players stacked up and the 30 people in that line waiting for the 15 DVD players. I left before the mayhem let loose... So...I tend to stay home and shop online. Last year was the marathon for me, first time I made it all night and accomplished almost my entire list by 10am BF! Had a big bottle of Mt Dew and lots of snacks, cranked up the Itunes to help keep me awake...and discovered that using Firefox w/the tabs was SO much easier than trying to manage 9 store pages at a time using AOL.
  6. I read a lot on GardenWeb's laundry forum before I decided on the Electrolux set. Lots of info on the different brands, models, common probs & solutions, good & bad customer service experience with the different suppliers (ie Sears/Lowes/HomeDepot) and the manufacturers for repairs (Bosch,Whirlpool,GE,LG, etc). http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/laundry/ I chose the Electrolux set for a few reasons, but mainly because they were the biggest capacity I could find and I could not (at that time) find one bad review...none. I am in love with this set...and I hate to do laundry.
  7. We need these metal desktop file sorters at my office, but I cannot find them at Staples, etc. The closest I can find is this one by Rubbermaid at Amazon, but they are plastic. http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Sorter-Sections-Plastic-48006ROS/dp/B00006IA79/ref=pd_sbs_op_6 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41EThVVDtrL._SL500_AA280_.jpg Anyone have an office supply source that might carry the same type of desktop sorter that's made of metal? I'd appreciate any help ya'll can provide in my search!!
  8. I've been looking at this for my little guy (9) but they don't have a cd/dvd drive, so watching a movie is out and loading games/programs would require a separate external drive. Not sure because of that...but the size is perfect for him...he goes ga ga over them when we're in the store, telling me how much he NEEDS one just like this. lol:tongue1:
  9. Does it have any ventilation under the laptop area? I'm worried about it getting to hot and since the heat comes from the bottom...
  10. Okay, so we have the new handy laptop that I swore I'd never like...but man, I gotta tell ya, I can tote this to the bedroom and go online while the kids hog the desktop. Loving it! So, now I need to find a stand that I can use while sitting on the couch or bed so that it stays cool and doesn't burn my legs either. I was thinking of a stand that kind of looks like a breakfast tray thingy...sits over your legs? Does anyone know of anything like that? It doesn't need to have a fan or tilt or anything fancy, just ventilation I guess. TIA for any suggestions!
  11. Gal at work was stocking up on her at-home soda stash and came back from WM on Weds and said they were $3.98 for the 24 pks of Pepsi products. We do not have a Meijers here, so I guess it's not dependent on that stipulation here. I'm going to do grocery shopping today, so we'll see if it's still going on....fingers crossed! Update: Been to WM for my shopping...had the 24 pks of Mt Dew, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Caff. Free Pepsi @ $3.98. Dr Pepper & something else were at $4.98. Only bought 2 cubes, but I think I'll go back again tomorrow to stock up on the Dew!
  12. This one w/John Cusack? http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51J722NM0YL._SL500_AA240_.jpg http://www.amazon.com/Money-Nothing-John-Cusack/dp/B00008L3UU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1251505379&sr=8-2 $9.99 at Amazon.com
  13. The House of Night series has a 4 book set coming out October 27th & Amazon has it available for pre-order right now at $23.75. http://www.amazon.com/House-Marked-Betrayed-Chosen-Untamed/dp/0312372132/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1251504949&sr=1-11
  14. Agreed...the House of Night series would be right up her alley age wise. I haven't read the Vampire Academy series, so I can't give an opinion on that one.
  15. The show is much more graphic than the books IMO, but I wouldn't suggest either for that age range.
  16. I would say no, as they are a little on the "sexier" side of the vampire stuff...a bit too much for my thinking for a 14 yr old girl. But if she's a really mature 14 yr old, maybe, but you know your daughter better than anyone. Maybe if you read the first book, you could get a feel for the tone of the books to make a more informed decision.
  17. FYI...Walmart now has the 8 book set that releases in September available for pre-order for $26.32 + shipping: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11075415 http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/97/80/44/10/18/9780441018239_150X150.jpg
  18. I couldn't even put it in my cart because I'd previously downloaded it from Amazon. So I remembered that I'd set up hubby with an Amazon account so he can do his own Christmas shopping...signed in under his name and got the credit immediately and didn't bother d/loading the game again.
  19. Received an email today that the folks at Woot have launched a KIDS Woot site: http://kids.woot.com/ Cuz I don't sit up watching enough Woot-Offs on their regular site, huh?! LOL Wonder if they'll have Kid Woot-Offs?! Today's Kid's Woot: http://sale.images.woot.com/Thomas_the_Train_Talking_Railway_Set_with_Engine_Recognition_Technologyew4Standard.jpg Thomas the Train Talking Railway Set with Engine Recognition Technology $49.99 * + $5 shipping Condition: New Product: 1 Learning Curve LC98780 Thomas and Friends Talking Railway Great Discovery Set
  20. I have a $10 off $50 at Aeroposale coupon good 8/24 thru 9/20 if you're interested.
  21. I'm in the same boat as you...looking thru the classifieds for a decent used upright to replace my huge chest freezer. Works great, but like you said, so hard to keep organized and use the food efficiently before it's too old.
  22. :yup:Just found a set of books 1-7 on Ebay's daily deals page for $27.97 + Free Shipping here...comes to $4/book! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300336453624
  23. I did the same thing...here's the link to the True Blood page on Hbo.com. http://www.hbo.com/trueblood/season2/ If you put your mouse/pointer on "episodes" at the bottom, it shows a total of 12 with 8 already highlighted (aired). So if they are only having 12 for the season, only 4 left. Bummer...that's a really short season IMO.
  24. Here's book 1 and it does list it as eligible for the promotion... http://www.amazon.com/Dead-Until-Southern-Vampire-Mysteries/dp/0441008534/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1250209778&sr=8-4
