same here..thats what I did.

I was at Michaels over the weekend and I dont know if there is a name for these but they are wooden and they can be a santa, snowman, tree or whatever anyway what they did drilled holes around the entire thing and then you stick Chirstmas lights in it after you paint it I have seen these at craft shows and they are kind of expensive so when I saw that for 9.99 I went and got one and then my grandma and aunt gave me 2 50% off coupons so I got 2 of them for what I paid for the one. I think that $5 and the time spent on it is enough! besides its the thought that counts right!..lol. :)

I never used layaway at walmart but I used it at k mart last year! I know that it was really helpful! I bet that its going to hurt them bad this year tho becuase A LOT of people did use it!

I love almost everything about the holidays, I think that everyone is happier,more friendly, the snow makes things for peaceful, the christmas songs, and seeing everyone in the family that I normally don't get to see threw the year.

I only bought my ds4 in 4ks teacher and the aid that helps them a gift..I got the teacher a gold canyon candle and then I bought the aid a bath and body works lotion,shower gel,and soap combo when they were on sale during their BIG sale.

I can't wait!

We have both and personally we have had problems with the v smile from the start only some of the games work in it and we never know whats going to happen and then we have a sad boy because he doesn't understand why we can't get it to work..He LOVES his leapster and even if they can't play the games that they have out there for them my son loves to play the games that are already in the leapster. But he does play the 4 games that we got him also.

last year one thing that I did was bought some whisk in the dollar section at target and then bought some kisses and filled the inside of the whisk then attached a message with ribbon that said "we whisk you a merry chirstmas"..everyone thought that it was a cute idea.

What I have done in the past is we all wear khaki and then ds and dh wear the same shirt and dd and I wear the same one..

What a cute way to use lightbulbs..I think that I'm going to have my daycare kids make these for x mas gifts to parents. (With all my attention of course!)

I was just wondering if you made this a square could it be used as a hot pad for cooking.. I just thought that would be neat when you put your hot food on it not that our cooking doesn't smell awsome anyway but when the pot or pan goes on it wouldn't that make it smell?

my mom has one that is really big they use to have real ones but the one they have now isn't I will ask her and then get back to you.

Last year was my first year and wal-mart is where I went first too then kohls but I'm thinking that target or walart will be my first this year..I just can't wait till the adds come out so that I can really figure out where to go, when I have to leave, and how much to take!

O and I forgot..santa always fills the stockings too my kids both have 2 and then there is always things overflowing it also!

I usually try to give the kids one big gift from santa unwrapped..and then its a different number every year but santa always gives 2 more gifts than dh and I for each of the kids.

I'm thinking about ordering a shirt...dh just got layed off so money is tight and I want all the money I can get for black friday..but anyway..I get up at 1 go help my sister with her paper route and then we go get coffee and head to Dubuque Ia for the day.

I would like to just put white on our tree..but dh likes the colored..and then we just put white up outside..

I think that I'm going to do the mickey wreath..my aunt and uncle just went to dinsey and I think that would be a neat idea for them..

On Christmas Eve we go to my parents or my inlaws (we rotate every year) during the day then that night we go to my grandma and grandpas then on x mas day we do santa here, go to church, go to my dh grandparents house, then go my other grandparents house, then to his grandmas, the to either his parents or my parents witch ever one we didn't go to..we just go go go on chirstmas, we have a total of 7 x mas to go too.

I'm cleaning everything up for the next day because of all the day care kids that will be coming..

My children have always put out milk and cookies and then carrots for the reindeer. but I remember when I was little my dad always made us put a beer out for santa along with the cookies..and he would always drink some of it..lol..

This will be my 2nd year but I can't belive what I missed out on all those years..I wanted to go in 2005 buy dd was born on the 17th and couldn't walk that much because I had a c section! so that suxed!
