Happy Thanksgiving!!

So I impulse bought some Rubbermaid containers.
2 sets, 1 in each color.
I only use a certain type of container, so that everything matches and stacks nicely in the cupboard.
They are not Rubbermaid.
So I'm not sure what I'm planning to do with these!

I'm pretty confused and disappointed in general this year. Airpods are on my list and since I am a Walmart+ member I was going to get on at noon today and try and score the $169 deal. I was doing some research and am on the Walmart site right now and see that they are current unavailable for shipping and not available at any stores nearby for pickup and that is at the $199 price. Do we think that Walmart will update stock at noon or are they truly sold out already before the $169 sale even starts? This is not the only store that has sold out / unavailable items even at the higher prices. Ugh.
I was showing them as being available during the early access. And they are still showing now that it's open to everyone. I hope you got them!

I always forget about Office Depot, because it's not in a shopping center I frequent (in fact I avoid it!).
I was lamenting the $3 deal, when I remembered I do actually have one close. Now to decide if it's worth going to that area!

Cardstock for $2.99
Craft paint B3G3F, but also a set of 36 bottles for $19.99
I got an email today for ribbon, mesh, and bows B1G3F as part of the early preview... but I'm not seeing that in the ad.

Also, they have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 with free memory upgrade like Samsung's site does... but they are also offering a $100 Gift Card. Nice!
I'll get the GC then turn around and use it for the Freestyle if it can be used that quick.

Sketchbooks B1G1F. Yay. They usually do that in the fall, but I guess I missed it.
Jar candles 3/$9.99
Yarn B2G1. Guess this is essentially the same as Joann's 30%, but I'd rather have the straight percentage so you aren't juggling purchases when you want to buy the big $10 skeins and also a tiny $3 one.

The Freestyle projector 2nd gen is on sale. Yay!

I am interested in the camping loveseat, which is an unusual item to find here! I've never seen anything like it.
I am also considering the logitech headset.

Yay yarn.

I have a 6ft foldable table that I set up in my guest room. I have all my accessories in little bins on a small side table.
It's so nice to just be able to go in there and have everything out and organized and ready.
With that said, it takes me FOREVER to wrap, because I have to think and ponder and evaluate Every. Single. Thing.
Which wrapping paper? Does one person have too much of that paper, and enough of the other? What would be more efficient? Am I leaving enough for a potentially large present?
And gift tags. Oh my goodness. I have to pick out the perfect tag for each gift, and make sure it matches the paper.
I gave up on bows years ago, otherwise presents would never get wrapped!!

Even though I didn’t resist a throw I did resist all the cute St. Nicholas Square kitchen and home items. Got some work shirts, PJ’s and the throw. Will use my earned Kohl’s cash on a pair of earrings
There are so many cute St. Nicholas Square things!
I was just about to place another order for the yearly Under Armor Hoodie for my step-dad's birthday. Then realized the earned Kohl's cash starts tomorrow. So that will work out perfect to use it on that. Yay.

Got my order in. No throws this time, but I bought some last month. And there's still another chance!
I got exciting things like a coat and jammies for my dog (woohoo!). I resisted all the cute gingerbread decorations and kitchen stuff.
But I also got a Step2 climbing playset for my grandson, so I'm pretty excited about that. That's his big gift so nice to have that decided and done!
Maybe on Thanksgiving I'll get my yearly throws and sheets and towels.

Seems like the last several years most places have been waiting until after Halloween. So a lot of the big places were releasing their ads Nov 1.
If so, then soon!!

We always go to my mom's, in the next town over. There will be 11 of us. We have Sunday dinner every week, so Thanksgiving is just different food!
Turkey
Dressing
Mashed potatoes
Egg noodles cooked in broth
Corn
Green beans
Mac and cheese
Pickles and olives
After dinner we help with the Christmas decorations.

Buckeyes. My grandfather's wife made them every year while I was growing up, and now it's my job.
When I first decided to make them, I looked in a Southern Baptist recipe book I had. I didn't realize it was enough to feed the entire church!
So now every year I make about 12 DOZEN buckeyes. I'm too afraid to change the recipe, and they are always a big hit.
1 pound butter
2 pounds powdered sugar
3 pounds peanut butter
2 large bags of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix butter and peanut butter. Add powdered sugar gradually. Roll into balls and place in freezer. Dip into melted chocolate using a toothpick and place on wax paper.

I am finally starting to get some lists.
So I'll be looking for a 3D Resin Printer, Samsung Galaxy tablet, trail camera, and a projector.

Has anyone else noticed that shipping times have increased this year? Even my Amazon Prime orders are being delayed. Some of my orders are weeks out. Seems to be this year's holiday norm, at least in Georgia.
Hmmm... I have not seen that. I am also in Georgia.
In fact, we have an Amazon order coming a day early today, which is unfortunate, since the son it is for is visiting today.
But I definitely won't wait until thrast minute!
We've told the kids if they have anything on their list shipping from another country, we need to know that now!

Batteries, Kohl's throws, towels, sheets.
I've already bought 4 throws this month, I needed them now.
I did resist getting 3 more that I wanted though!

I’m in shock.
Beorn actually reached out to me with a gift request. Finding something for him is usually a guessing game, more often not received as well as I hoped, but always appreciated.Anyway, he’s requesting a new Magic The Gathering four deck set which is on preorder right now. It’s Doctor Who themed. I already have both his Hanukkah and Christmas gifts, but I can keep this in mind for his birthday next summer, if he doesn’t get it before then.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to find deals on trading card games? This is a category that’s new to me. I definitely have until mid-Summer before needing to purchase.
I talked to my son about this last night. He pre-ordered his this past weekend, and said he was a little worried because Wizards of the Coast is telling retailers there may be shortages even for pre-orders. So hoping he'll get his when they release Friday.
Something interesting though, he said these don't really have an MSRP, but they go by Market Price. He looked last night, and the 4 deck set was $40 more than when he ordered it a few days ago. So that's a little crazy!
I'm not sure about deals for card games. He has a few places he orders his decks from, and then he buys individual cards from an eBay-like marketplace.
If you aren't buying until summer, hopefully the "newness" will have worn off and they will be easier to find and market price will be less.
Let me know if you want me to ask him more questions.

Thank you! We just moved here 2 years ago, and I love it.
