Happy April.  We are on spring break this week, and my grandson is in town staying with my mom.

Sadly I am now at over 2 months being sick, so probably no activities for me.  At least I'm not having to miss work and can get some rest.

So, I spent my spring break in the hospital.  😞  Zero stars, would not recommend.

So no visit with my grandson.

But I am home today after 5 days, and I am feeling better finally.   Yay.

And hopefully next weekend I can travel the 3 hours to see my new grandbaby arriving in 3 days!

Happy March.  The month I go broke from birthdays, new grandbaby arriving, Spring Break and school field trips!!!!

Sounds like a fun month!  Congrats on the grand baby.  Mine arrives in 5 weeks!

February was a bit of a rough month, I've been sick since the last week in January.  It got really bad about the 10th, and I just can't seem to get better.  It'll ease off for a day or 2, then come back.  We think we may have figured out the cause being an allergic reaction to my dad's dogs that have been staying here during the bad cold weather.  They are leaving tomorrow, so fingers crossed I can start getting better!

    Here's to a happy March!

Your setup is something I'd like to achieve some day! Looks great!

I particularly love the 1/2 round table with the tree and the train set.

Thank you! 😊   They are a lot of fun to build and set up.

You'll get there, probably sooner than your wallet would like!  😄

    Have fun!

The "Santa's Visit" blue house is new to us this year and it is NOT in sections. This will be a challenge to store without it being a total disaster next Xmas.

I wrapped the Santa House in several layers of paper and taped it tightly.  I removed the tree and maybe the top of the chimney.   I then set it inside a box, and put that in a tote.  It is very oddly shaped, so it's a challenge for sure.   The only thing I think I had to repair was the center floor and dining table section.  Just snapped right back.

  5. I finally got mine all set up.  I didn't have a spot big enough to put them, so I got a foldable table to set it on.  And still ran out of room.

I still have a few tiny sets to build that will go in random places.  And I have a fire station I never built.  So I'll have to find a spot for that next year.

So, this is probably a dumb question. Do you rebuild your Lego pieces every year? Or did you do them once and then put them away completed?

I wrap mine up in paper and put away in the boxes.   Usually there are a couple small repairs that need to be done, but nothing major.

I do t have any pictures yet. Outside is mostly done though. We need a couple more sets of net lights, something to go on the porch (would like to find some of those holiday light posts but they are so expensive) and one more inflatable (wife loves those things).  I also would like to find a few big outdoor wreaths to put around the lights on the garage but bows may just do.

Sounds amazing, can't wait to see it!

My friends have FOUR 20ft tall inflatables in their yard this year.  They get a lot of attention for sure!

  8. Despite not having a lot on my lists, and really dragging my feet on shopping in general, I did buy quite a bit.  Kohl's and Amazon were my top 2 as usual.

Monday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  Crowds (and traffic) were weekend levels.

Marshall's,  TJMaxx, Five Below, PopShelf, Michael's,  PetSmart:

Wrapping paper and bags (although I don't need any more!), novelty candy for stockings, small tree, jar candles, dog treats, and a pair of jeans

Michael's was out of the B1G1 sketch pads,  but they were available at another store 45 minutes away, in the shopping center that my son was going to.  So I did a pickup order.  Unfortunately,  they got things mixed up, and he came home with 3 big balls of yarn (that had been B2G1), so I made a blanket and donated that to the senior center.  And then ordered the sketch pads and a tiny tree for shipping.

Joanns online.  Yarn, gifts bags, and a couple decorations.

Walmart online.  Rubbermaid containers and men's pajama set.

Samsung. The Freestyle Projector and battery base.  The projector was on sale at every store for $200 off.  But Samsung direct was the only place I could find the battery base (also on sale), but you could only buy it with the protector.  Plus I had a $25 off coupon for first purchase through the app.

Kohl's online.   Preview sale, veterans day sale, and on Saturday.

Towels, throws, bath rugs, memory foam mattress pad, 2 pair of jeans, Under Armor hoodie,  couple of toys, toddler clothes,  men's slippers,  Aura frame, and a Dutch oven. I still have some Kohl's cash I need to spend.   All total I earned about $150 in Kohl's cash.

Amazon.  Resin 3D printer, 3D printer filament, Samsung Buds Live, wireless around-the-neck earbuds, cables, comforter, Logitech gaming mouse, toys, coffee table, and other random things.

All in all in was a productive month, although for some reason I was dragging my feet on actually buying things, even when they were are on sale.

Now I have to wrap it all!
