Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007

Has the new one in Grove City opened yet? -
Wish I had known this yesterday when I went to Target. Oh well. I did get a Dallas Cowboys chair (one of those for camping or tailgating with a detachable foot stool) for $6.24. I'm giving it to my db for his birthday.

Has anyone ever bought an item the day before Thanksgiving and then gone in on Thanksgiving and had them price adjust? Someone on another thread said they always do it at Target but just wondering if anyone has at Kmart. I would hate to get in line at 5AM for the TV and there not be any.

Got the Dallas Cowboys chair for 6.24 today. It was 17.48 on Sunday. Got four doggie costumes for a buck a piece. Their folgers flavored coffee has been 3.99 for a couple of weeks now. Had three $1.00 off coupons so stocked up. Tiger Woods 2007 was still $30 so I put it back for now. They had a bunch. Got six pack of light bulbs for 1.60. They have those other packs of light bulbs on clearance that resemble the ones from awhile back that had gift cards in them. No markings on the package. Has anyone bought these recently? -
What about Thanksgiving Day itself? Kmart's Thanksgiving Day ad has a TV that I would like to have. I have a Meijer in the town I live but I would have to drive 25 minutes to get to a Kmart. TIA

That $400 tv looks awful good to me. I wonder what time I should get there.

75% in Rossford, Ohio. Lots of stuff left, mostly costumes and decorations. Scored 4 MMs, haven't gotten those in months! They also have the 6 ft foldable banquet table for $29. That is the cheapest I've ever seen them. Bought several when they had them for $36 a while ago but this was a bonus. Back in the camping section, they had those lawn/camping chairs in the carry bag that had Dallas Cowboys on them. They were marked $17.48 (I didn't look at the normal price but can only image that is 15 or 30% off) so if anyone sees them for less, please let me know. I'll be keeping an eye on them. They had about 8 so I shouldn't have to go every day to check on them since my closest Target is 25 minutes away. Thanks! -

Where is there a SuperTarget in Toledo? All the ones I know about are regular ones: Rossford, Spring Meadows, Monroe Street, Alexis Road. I know there is a Super at Polaris in Columbus and a Greatland at Easton. -

Has anyone seen the cd jukebox for less than $83? They had three marked at $118 and the display was $83. Would like to see it go even lower. They are kinda neat. -
Got my shirt. Thanks Brad. Now I need one in a larger size so I'll keep checking to see when stock is added.

Ace was the only store I went to last year, for the dvd player. I got there at 5:55 AM (our store opened at 7) and was the first in line. Ours is on Main Street (in a small town) so I could park right in front of the door but I brought a chair, my newspaper and a mug of coffee. A couple was a minute or two right behind me for the dvd player too. I think they only had ten. Quite a few more showed up pretty early and most were for the dvd player and a couple were there for some other electronic I don't remember. This store has a back door too but luckily the dvds were at the front register (I could see them thru the window). So at 7, the doors opened, I grabbed two dvd players (one for my ds and one for my sil) and was at work by 7:15. Just an FYI.

Just ordered. Can't wait to get it. Thanks, Brad.

i just type in las vegas in yahoo search and come up with so many web sites offering deals and coupons, etc. Yeah, if you are going to rent a car, most of the resorts on the strip have free parking areas (usually in the back) and you can walk thru the air conditioned casinos to get to other areas of the strip. We would park at a resort, see the sites there and several others in the area, got back in the car and drove further down and did the same thing again. there is so much walking that we never would have made it back and forth without this, especially if it is hot. i was there last sept but never got to check out the tram. sign up at some players clubs for freebies even if you dont plan to gamble there much; they'll send you emails for deals after you come home. if you are by the tropicana, get in line and do the free pull. and there is a mega hot dog for .99 at a place outside slots o fun (by circus circus) that was featured on food network that looks big enough to feed a family of four and they said it was pretty tasty. and definitely get the free drinks while gambling, altho the waitresses didn't seem to come around the penny slots very often lol. have fun. I plan on taking myself back again in about three years to celebrate getting my masters. and then four years after that, can take DS for his 21st. time flies.

Got king sized packs of skittles for .26 (orig .89) and king size milky ways bars for .24. Only bought four milky ways but about 20 bags of the skittles (for DS) but still left a few. they had muscle milk (orig 14.99) for 3.76 so bought one for DS to try (he's gonna start weight training this summer). they had sponge bob and hello kitty calculators for 3.xx i thought were kinda cute. nothing else real exciting. they are still moving things around at the rossford store. some groceries back where they normally have seasonal. lots of empty shelves from easter; they haven't restocked yet. no .69 juice either. got my fix for the week tho. -

I wish I could find the software for that price. One store didn't have any left at any price and the one store I found them at about two weeks ago had them at 24.48. Is there any way you could get one for me if they still have them the next time you go and I could get you the $ to ship to me? I don't want to buy the pen unless I get this software. A couple of sites had them for 1/2 price (49.99) a week or so ago so I'm sure I can find it for that or even lower by next September when ds starts high school. TIA -

After seeing your post, I went to a Target that had two of the algebra flypen software but it was still marked 24.xx. I scanned it to see if it was cheaper but it came up 0.00 so i took it to the checkout and the clerk punched some numbers in and it was still 24.xx. so i passed. i know i saw it at another Target for 17.xx but was hoping to get it for at least 8.xx but 4.xx would be most excellent. i probably wont luck out. Are you in Richmond by any chance? I have a brother down there that I could send on an expedition if so. TIA -

Thanks. I'll keep checking back at the store. There's still hope our price goes lower. -

Okay, so I went to the Spring Meadows store on Saturday. Didn't find a whole lot. They did have the about 4 juice boxes but I don't need those; I just like to scan them and make sure they are .69. Looking for the Tide but not a good price yet. They did have All 200 oz for 6.98 (15% off). Didn't like that price but needed it anyway so bought one. Went to Rossford Target today and they had the All for 3.xx so I was kicking myself about buying the other one for double and thinking I would have to "eat" that purchase since I rarely keep my receipts for items that I don't intend to take back. Bought three more of the All at 3.xx and they also had Downey fabric softener on clearance 3.18 for 80 loads which is better than the 40 load bottle clearance for 1.92. Bought a couple of those. Anyway, procrastination pays off because I have a trunk load of Target clearance stuff (at least 8 cases of slim fast, a case each of water and diet green tea (not really clearanced but on sale, a 1/2 price cannister set that I still have to give to my dad and never found another set for me in all my perusing, etc) because it has been too cold to really unload the car or I'm busy or the car was at the tire repair place for the last 24 hours waiting for them to remove the nail in my tire, so...after loading today's buys, I look at the All that is still in my trunk from Saturday thinking I should start keeping all my receipts when I see the Target bag from Saturday that I forgot still had a magazine in it I purchased. Lo and behold, my receipt was in the bag! So back goes the "high priced" All and back in my trunk go TWO of the lower price All for about a dollar more. Yippee! Good day but I'll probably wish I had gotten more of both, even tho I'm out of trunk space:-) If anyone sees that Algebra for the fly pen go below 17.xx, please post because my DS will be taking algebra next year. TIA -

Wish I had had this information when I tried to get the .89 bags of Archer Farms chips. Clerk wouldn't let me get those since the coupon was for $1. She never said anything about adjusting the coupon to match the price of the item, just that I had to buy the 1.99 bags. I passed on that. Oh well... -

I know what you mean. Went to one Target today and got a four cannister set for half price. It rang up 9.98 and I liked that one because it had the scoops that hang on the side with it. At lunch, told my dad about it and he said he could use some cannisters so I said I would give them to him. On the way home, stopped at a different Target and the same cannister set was full price. Even scanned it to make sure. They should all be on the same page concerning markdowns. And it isn't like these stores are on my way to work or just around the corner; one is 20 minutes away (where they were still full price) and the other is 40 minutes away so would have to make another special trip to get there and they would probably all be gone by then. Other stuff I got today was a 2007 Simpsons calendar for $1. It was originally 9.99 and when I scanned it it came up 0.00 so the clerk asked and was told to give me 90% off. Good deal since two months are pretty much gone already but DS loves Simpsons so he'll appreciate it. Also found one of the juice packs for .69. Why did I buy it? Don't really use much boxed juices anymore but it was apple and I figured for that price, I would drink the darn stuff myself after reading on here all of those that kept finding it. haha. Got four more choxie bars. No problem. Bought the last five cases of slimfast at the second Target today too. The first Target didn't have any. It was still 4.25 but I figured for an 8 pack (about .50 each can) it was worth it since I drink one every morning for breakfast. Gotta cut back on my Target trips (yeah, right). haha -

Got 8 choxie bars today. Four of them scanned 1.70 but the coupon took off $2 each. Slimfast was still 4.25 for an 8 pack. I have no other coupons for them but drink it every morning so bought it anyway. No juice boxes. Cascade tubs still 12.49. Had a shabby chic quilt in my basket, full size said 69.xx but scanned 24.xx. Ended up putting it back because I already have two really nice quilts and couldnt even justify the cheap price. Has anyone found shabby chic furniture on sale? I didnt bother scanning any but was just curious if they were clearancing that out as well as the bedding. This stuff was located between electronics and the GB section, over by the kids bedding and not with the adult bedding. I didn't see any clearance stickers but thought they should clearance the whole category. Just curious. Will be going to another store tomorrow. GB very slim pickings in Rossford. Everything else I picked up scanned what it said on the sticker so put a lot of stuff back.
