My favorite memory was taking my brother with me for his one and only Black Friday experience. It was to Walmart in Sevierville TN back when everything was wrapped in black plastic and you stood by the stack until they said go. I had him waiting by some toy. I told him the minute they said go to grab it and go straight to check out and then wait for me. He thought no biggie. When I go to him at the checkout he was white as a ghost clutching the toy like it was worth a million dollars. I asked what happened and he said he had never seen toys disappear so fast! People came from everywhere grabbing them and all were gone in seconds. But he got one, paid and held it close afraid someone would tackle him for it. He would never go Black Friday shopping with me again. He's been in heaven for 7 years now but every Black Friday I love remembering that early morning experience together.

Hello August. Wow what a rough start you have been. My colon preforated twice and my appendix ruptured. 11 day hospital stay. Please let the rest of the year be kinder.

I will be in Chattanooga TN this year. My dad wants to see the Rock City Garden of Lights and my mom doesn't want to cook this year. So road trip it is!!! Driving up Thanksgiving morning and will be there for Black Friday morning. I shopped there 5 years ago too and Hamilton Place mall was wayyyyyyyyy to crowded for me to ever do that again. I may hit some smaller stores but I am avoiding the mall this year. I will do most of my shopping online of course but just love the fun of actually being in a store on Black Friday. Oh the memories of years gone by.

My 21 year old daughter wants to upgrade her Apple Watch. Currently she has the 1st or 2nd one. No cellular plan on it. All she uses it for is to read text messages while on the job. Makes no calls from it. I know nothing about these. Where is the best place to get one, what do I look for? She has the Apple 14 pro max phone. She said the watch doesn't have to be the latest and greatest just has to be able to get her text messages. Thanks

1. Which store do you think will have the best Black Friday sale(s) this year? Probably better stores in different parts of the country but its usually Walmart for me. 2. Do you anticipate shopping in stores on Black Friday this year? Feel free to explain why or why not. Yes I love to shop in the physical store. I will do most shopping online for ease but I just love actually being in the store on Black Friday. 3. What one aspect of past Black Fridays would you like to see brought back? Actually having the sales in stores at 3 am or 5 am. I loved looking at the physical ads on Thanksgiving Day, planning attack and then being up super early to go stand in line and shop. It was the thrill of it all.

Free Samsung A21 phone. Went to pay my bill online yesterday and there was the offer. I had been upgrade eligible for a while and my S9 was starting to have issues, but I didn't want to pay for another phone. So Free caught my eye and I got it.

Got up early and went to DG this morning. Neither of our stores was participating and had zero of the merchandise that was advertised. I called surrounding counties and none of them are participating this year either. I always get the Christmas PJs, toys, sleep pants. I had like 10 items on my list and got nothing but toliet paper. So disappointed.
