  1. Magic Cookie Bars *Adjust the amounts as you like-my amounts make it very, very rich but that's how we like them! 2 cups graham crackers a little over 1/2 cup melted butter 1 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips 1/2 bag of butterscotch chips 1 1/2 cups of flaked coconut 1/2 to 1 cup of chopped walnuts (I usually only put the nuts on half) Heat oven to 350. Coat 13 x 9 pan with lots of cooking spray. Combine the graham crumbs with the butter and press into the bottom of the pan (I use my hands to mix them up-easier and faster) Pour the condensed milk as evenly as possible over the crumb mixture. Then layer the chocolate chips, butterscotch, coconut, and nuts over the milk. Gently press all of it down a little with a fork or spoon. Cook for about 20 minutes or until the coconut starts browning and the milk starts getting bubbly.
  2. If you've spent the Kohl's Cash, they take the amount spent (over what you would have received) and reduce your refund. If you haven't spent it yet, they will reduce the amount of your Kohl's Cash certificate. They will give you a store credit for the merchandise returned and it won't affect the amount of your Kohl's Cash. When you return stuff, they can tell you if it will affect your Kohl's Cash and by how much before you finalize the return so you can decide what to do.
  3. Can you narrow down your trades? We're moving so we have all kinds of stuff we're selling and donating and passing on to friends but I'm awful at thinking of things for trade!
  4. My son has that camera. It's easy to use and very durable, but the picture quality is not there. My son used it when he was about 3 and didn't care about the pictures. We actually just got him a new digital camera for his 6th birthday and he loves it. We got a lower end Kodak digital. It's the CD82 from Walmart that was on sale for black friday. It's not as durable but he's gotten so he wants to look at his pictures and print them out and we couldn't do that with the fisher price. It's probably a bit more than he needed, but lower quality ones weren't that much cheaper so we just got that one. It seems like Kodak cameras are a little easier to use than the other brands. We've moved the Kid Tough to my 18 month old daughter.
  5. JCPenny and Sears are both running sales right now for pretty big discounts on frames. How old are your glasses? Mine broke (twisted in half by my little one) but when I called to see if my RX was expired, it turned out they were covered under warranty still so they just replaced them. I've also found Walmart to be fairly inexpensive especially if you need new lenses and you use those high index ones or whatever they're called. (The ones that cost triple what other lenses do, but if your vision is bad enough it's either get those or walk around with coke bottles....)
  6. I ordered last week and I just received mine today-there was 3 packs too so it was a great deal! $5.50 for 9 razors! Hopefully everyone's orders are correct!
  7. They lowered the price so I'm ordering some. I did email customer service to ask since I only want them if there are 3 packs and their reply was this: "I checked this item "Bic Soleil Bella For Women Shaver, 3-Count (pack of 3)" on our website and see that this item comes with 3 package. Each package includes 3 razors. So, this item contains 9 razors in a package." So you might try emailing them again to see what you can do! I'm ordering some if the price stays the same, but they won't ship until next week since they're on order.
  8. I agree with you. I'd expect 3 packages of the 3 count razors. My reasoning has nothing to do with the price. It says Pack of 3 which means 3 packs. The 3 count refers to the number in each pack. I've ordered a lot of items from Amazon like this, and I've always received multiple items-whatever was listed in the number of packs. Did you try talking to someone else at amazon? I've also found that different people give different information and I'm doubtful that supervisors are actually even consulted with. But anyway if the lady didn't understand what you were talking about she probably explained it wrong to the supervisor if she did talk to one so definitely call back if you can! Here's an example that I personally ordered a lot of time: http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Kid-Original-24-Count-1-76-Ounce/dp/B000GZSDSA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1262096831&sr=1-1 Each time I get 6 boxes of the Mum Mums with 24 crisps in each box. Good luck!!
  9. If it was lost in store, maybe you could direct your complaint to the store manager. They might at least offer an apology or be able to explain what happened.
  10. I have had issues with both FedEx and UPS, but lately UPS has been better! My new guy is pretty on top of things. FedEx has delivered packages to the wrong house-my neighbor around the corner-a few times, returned my package to the sender because they said my address didn't exist, and always takes a few days longer than UPS. They've also delivered other people's packages to me and left it on the doorstep...
  11. Thanks! Got one for my mother in law and a pair of jeans my son! Only $32.79 including shipping and tax since I used the $10 off coupon!
  12. For me it's worth it because I am super impatient with shipping! Also, with 3 kids it's really hard to get out of the house for little things so it's kind of nice to have the option to buy things on Amazon-light bulbs, snacks, toys, etc...Also, I have family all over the place so it's nice to be able to ship presents to them.
  13. Nothing specific! Cars and Princess stuff type stuff really...And their sweatshirts and fleece onesies/pj's!
  14. I buy them when they're on sale at Kohls.com and use a 30% code and free shipping codes.
  15. I looked around and never found it cheaper than this. Meijer.com does have it for $59.99 with a 20% off coupon, but you'd have to pay shipping. Amazon has it for $49.97 and free shipping. I was choosing between the Roborover and the TriBot so I looked at all the prices! We ended up going with the Tri-Bot though.
  16. Me too! I'm 33 and they still have the stocking we made when we were little! My grandma still has the stocking boots she fills for us....And they've added stockings for my 3 kids and hubby!
  17. Has anyone been to the Disney store lately? I was wondering what kinds of sales they were running right now in their retail stores...Thanks!
  18. The Ref with Denis Leary-my all time favorite movie plus my favorite christmas movie by a long shot!! Hilarious!
  19. I prefer Nikon cameras over Kodak cameras. I like the picture quality better on Nikon cameras (although my absolute favorite is Canon, Nikon is second). Your daughter might prefer the Kodak though, if that's what she's used to-some of the buttons and functions might be more familiar. Kodak actually has some really good info on the differences in megapixels and zoom and all that (not just their cameras) that might help you determine what will work better. Just curious, are Kodaks easy to use? I want to get my son a camera but he's only 6 and loves taking pictures. He's outgrown all the kid cameras so we're moving to a regular one. I thought I heard before that Kodaks were a little easier to use than other brands...but I can't remember where I heard that or if that is what I heard or something entirely different....

I wanted to add to my previous post about the photo books just in case someone was interested-Snapfish just sent out a code for 50% off all their photobooks that's good until Nov. 24th. (I think Shutterfly's quality is a little better, but sometimes snapfish gives an additional 25% off items when you buy exact duplicates of the same thing).

I make calendars through shutterfly each year and usually can get them for about $10 a piece including shipping if you do them during their sales. You could make up a small photo/memory book with pictures of yourselves when you were little or if you have kids use current pics of your kids. You could make them yourself and have it bound somewhere or use hole punches and ribbon. I've found that if you catch the good sales at Shutterfly, it's usually cheaper though (they have a lot of buy one get the rest half off and things like that around the holidays plus free shipping). But you could put the books in a dollar store decorative container filled with a bag of popcorn, movie coupon, homemade cookies, fudge, things like that. Personally I love photos, so I always like making photo books and calendars and things like that. My family loves them especially when I dig out the old photos and stuff. It makes for happy memories for the whole family!
  22. My kids still play with ours from last year although it was my oldest, but the two youngest play with it the most. My son wants the Husky though, but I might pick up a panda or leopard for my daughter if our TJ Max has one.
  23. Which ones did they have at TJ Maxx? I might have to make a run to check ours out...
  24. I did that and got an email from a manpower employee email saying to call the store and use the store finder if I need the number! I even told them what store and everything-you'd think they could have at least told me the number! I'm going out of town so I didn't want to call long distance, but I guess I have to!
  25. Everything that I wanted is the same price it was early in the week so no orders for me!
