prices for the larger ones are pretty typical of HD, Menards, etc this time of year...and even earlier...not all that great of a price...BUT....they DO have a GREAT selection

So, DD wants a guitar for Christmas... we ordered one from Toys R Us, but it's WAY too small...it's going to be going to my 3 year old son to play with... DD has no experience with guitars...and I don't want to spend a bundle (want to keep at 50 bucks if we can)....but I don't want junk either... I was thinking the Squier...but that's more like 90...and we've already overspent on Christmas anyone have any suggestions as far as brands go...or which brands to stay away from?

all the more reason that the prices should be 70% off Whitehall's regular prices...rather than the "reference price"

the problem with ANY chain (like Whitehall, JBR, Zales, etc) is that their "70% off" sales are 70% off of the "reference" price... which is already double or triple what the REAL price is... I wish they'd crack down on that deception.... you should be able to get a NICE set for that....as in g-h color, SI1 in clarity...

and location...if you're near me, I can recommend and excellent jeweler...
