Off the topic of the OP's question... I love this idea:
When my brother, sister and I turned 15, we also started getting *real world* gifts for Christmas and birthdays. A locker (the foot variety :lol ), sheet set, towel sets and the like. Mom and Dad figured it kept us grounded in the reality that adulthood was sneaking up, and by the time college hit we were stocked up.

Just thought I'd report in that I LOVE my QVC tree.
I have had 5 different artificials over the years, and this is my absolute favorite. The tips of each branch are of a different, softer faux-pine, which makes them look like new growth. The branches are wound with brown and green threading, which looks quite real... the overall effect is fabulous. Very realistic. If I get my act together, I will post a picture.

I was thinking about that closed thread this morning... it refers to the first one, but that first one is in the Black Friday forum... these are pre-Black Friday deals. Not sure why there can't be a CC thread here in online deals. I am not a BF shopper, so I wouldn't even think to look for this pre-BF thread in that forum. Just my 2 cents.

Are they nuts??? I checked they're Lego page, they're selling things at other stores normal prices, i.e. KK Dracus Sale 9.97 Motion Power Helicopter $62.00 Sale $49.97 I'm a regular price hunter for Lego and this is no sale to me.
Yeh, one does need to know their prices. Leapster products are about 30% higher than elsewhere.
