  1. Went to Target tonight and I picked upthe Bratz Bride and Groom for $9.98 That is cheaper than the black friday price !!
  2. I stopped in Target tonight and.... nothing !!!! all the christmas merchandise was still full price except the red boxed gifts (30% off) and a few of the blue boxed toys (30% off). Even the Hello Kitty appliances were only 30% off !!
  3. I have ordered from them many times and never had a problem.
  4. Someone did the same thing last year to the reindeer in front of our local municipal building, I work midnights and decided to run to the store for a cup of coffee and almost crashed my car I was laughing so hard when I saw it !!!
  5. I was also in WM yesterday and noticed the same thing, not really crowded at all compared to Target which I was in on Saturday. Sam's club is in the same plaza and they had more cars in their lot then WM did.
  6. OMG !!! Our WM also has the same parking lot, carts and trash all over the place.
  7. As soon as I tried to checkout it tells me that this item is no longer available, oh well, I tried.
  8. Not to get off topic here but has anyone noticed that more and more stores are having before christmas sales? I was looking through the Sunday ads and noticed that Kohl's, Rag Shop, Michael's, AC Moore, Boscov's and a few others all have 50%-75% off their christmas merchandise. Kinda takes the fun out of the day after shopping. Not to mention that with the gifts to buy I really don't have much left to take advantage of those sales anyway.
  9. I believe the sale prices were good for saturday only.
  10. I know what you mean. Not to sound preachy but when I worked in retail I always checked the sale ads on sundays and kept one at my register just in case.
  11. I stopped in Wamart tonight in Freehold, NJ and I was handed a black and white flyer with sale items on it. Nothing great for me but maybe something for someone else. Don't know if these prices are good at all Walmarts but the fine print says - prices not valid in Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Utah, Wisconsin, or Canada. 12. Kohl's !!! Our Kohl's has the pre-christmas 50% off and about 2 days after they mark everything down to 75% off including Hallmark ornaments. Well worth it if your looking for things to decorate for next year.
  13. I stopped in ebgames today and they did not have one thing posted about the sale. I asked if they the used games were on sale and the associate said she didn't know what I was talking about. I was glad they didn't have anything I wanted.
  14. On the site they have a whole section of secret sale items, at the top of the page it says to print the coupon to get these prices in store. Nothing too great however
  15. I also went there for the first time today. They have a great selection of furniture at awesome prices. They also have a Brazt blowout sale going on. I picked up the sushi bar playset that is still selling on a few sites for $40 (and up) for $12 !!!
  16. Figures that I would never walk in during that sale !
  17. It seems that for the most part the prices in store and online are the same. The snowglobes, for example, were on sale at the store this weekend, the big difference was that they were all marked down to $59 no matter what the original price. The good thing about the store is no S&H !
  18. I haven't stepped a foot inside WM since October. Now I remember why
  19. Sorry about that, I thought your post said friday They have all crayola crayons and markers buy 1 get 2 free, a great deal any day of the week !!
  20. If I can get my 12 deals coupon for ice age to print.... as soon as I get the kids on the bus (around 8:45), the crayola deal is way too good to pass up !
  21. I just called the one here in New Jersey and the poor girl sounded like she thought I was a nut. They are not going out of business and she was not aware that any of their other stores were. Oh well, I really would have loved to hit that sale, dh & 4 dd's are all avid readers.
  22. I have a Walmart and a Target directly across the highway from one another and personally I would rather pay a few cents more for the same item in Target then deal with Walmart. Our Walmart is filthy, no associates around when you need help, the aisles are always blocked with pallets, 500 people on line and they are letting cashiers shut down and go home... the list goes on and on. Target on the other hand is the polar opposite. Walmart just isn't what it used to be.
  23. I agree with tazolover, if a cashier gives me too much change I also speak up. Some stores have very strict shortage policies and I have heard of people being fired for as little as $2 over or under in their tills. For me that $2 would never be worth the job of someone who has to feed their family. However, if something scans lower than marked I consider myself lucky to have gotten a deal. Sorry folks but i am not going to ask to pay the marked price when the item scans lower. I don't work for the store and it is not my job to police their employees to ensure they are not making mistakes. Also, not to get off topic here but has anyone checked out the "perimeter" target thread in offline deals? There are plenty of posts there about target items that are ringing up lower than the clearance price and no one is complaining ! One other quick note, I do believe that the store must honor the "scanned" price (except when the item scans "zero"), the same way they have to honor the shelf tag if it was never changed when the sale ended.
  24. Our Disney Store had the same thing about 2 weeks ago. We applied and when I went there this weekend the card wouldn't scan !! It kept coming up that it had not been activated. The manager came over and believe it or not took the $10 off my order anyway !! Good customer service during the holidays, I was in shock.
