Last year I had placed an order on the after Christmas sales online with Hollister. It was for around $140 worth of clothes for my son. It came by USPS with delivery confirmation to my PO Box. However, it was never delivered to me. The post office told me that it had been picked up. I think what happened is they put the notice in someone else's PO Box who then went up and received the package at the counter. Since they never asked for identification, it went to the wrong person who obviously kept it. When I filed a complaint, the post master told me it is the post offices job to just deliver the mail - but not necessarily to the right person. I couldn't believe my ears. They would not make good on it. They told me to argue it out with Hollister. Hollister RELUCTANTLY made good on it (had to argue this one too because they had proof that it had been delivered) but by that time it was a refund because everything I had ordered was sold out. And stupid me thought it was safer having it sent to my PO Box rather than lying on my front porch until I got home from work.

Buyer beware - I joined a group on this forum and was on it one year successfully. The second year partway through, they cancelled our account. We also all split it up and paid $16 a piece. I speak from experience...

Target has the iPad on sale this week (Various models - various prices). The ad states you get a $40 gift card, but it is really a $50 gift card with purchase. Not too bad a deal, considering they don't come on sale that often for that good a price and yes, I am a teacher too and our education discount doesn't apply on them. The best Apple does on them is on Black Friday for $30 off.

I had placed my first order with them on Dec. 13th. The item came on Dec. 24th. But after ordering, I looked online and have seen a lot of negative comments about them. If I would have read these before ordering, I would have been leery.

This is exactly the problem. Premier Silver Members were left out of the promotion. Best Buy claims it is random, but I want one of them to explain to me just how that is random. The only Premier Silver Members who have received the $10 or $20 bonus are the ones who have called and complained. I've been following similar threads on other websites, this seems to be the case. Myself included. I have been Premier Silver for 5 years running, and I received nothing, even after inquiring. Way to crap on your best customers Worst Buy.
I think it has to be random. I've purchased around those dates listed above, and I am not a Premier Silver Member. I have only spent maybe a $100-$200, so if the above theories were correct, I would have received something. And NOTHING! I think it is totally random.

Mine too. I used my Swiss Colony account card to pay for both orders though. I think they would have both processed with freebies had I used a different method of payment for the second order.
I did use two different methods of payment and put one under my name and one under hubbies.

I placed two separate orders on the same day. Both arrived today. One came with all of the freebies, the other didn't. (And both were the same items ordered.) Go figure.....

Our Target also had an empty shelf, but a clerk walked by so I asked her if they had any. She scanned the barcode on the shelf and ran back to the stockroom to get some for me. : )
She brought out a whole case of them - only six to a case. No wonder when they only put a case out at a time they were all gone.

I didn't make it to Walmart until 7:30 pm tonight to try and get the iTunes cards. I was sure they would all be gone by now, but to my surprise, they still had them left. Hubby and I picked up four of them for Christmas gifts! Clerk said it hadn't really been all that busy today. She had been working since noon and I was the first iTunes cards she had rang up!
