I stopped at the one on my way home that just started marking around 1! Looked like a tornado had went through and every single item I wanted was gone! I was very disappointed and left empty handed! Glad I got some stuff at another store at lunch or I would have been really depressed!

I went to the Nora and Castleton store today too. Just wish I had went to one of those first this morning instead of 38th street as it seemed these two were pretty wiped out. Did get a few items I THOUGHT I needed but not the stuff I REALLY REALLY wanted to get!

I found it wierd too that they still kept some stuff 30 off and 50 off with a majority of 75 off but if I recall, they did the same thing last year. It was torture! I wanted some thomas stuff and it's only 30 off! Scanned it all and nothing! Bummer!

The 38th Street store is still 30 and 50. THey were just starting on the big stuff like table games etc and I couldn't wait any longer.....

I had my fingers crossed it would be done at opening. ONe store I went to yesterday started around 11 so I'll be checking back but was hoping they'd had it done. I heard beeps in the electronics area but no action in toys OR camping stuff.

Just got back from the one I went to yesterday morning, still NO 75% off yet! Sheesh! What are these people doing to me! I raced back there for nothing! I did get some cold medicine so guess it wasn't a totally wasted trip! UGH! I'm sure if they mark down later I'll miss it! Will check back at lunch but I've pretty much given up hope......

38th Street on the West Side....

I probably would have had to ask for a manager to find out if that is normal practice because I too would like to take advantage of the 'personal shopper' experience. I would have been soooo mad! I probably would have had to confront the guy! I would have asked him if he could do the same for me tomorrow in toys! :)

I went to mine that had been 30 off this stuff forever and at lunch they were FINALLY starting to mark it all down at 75! So keep checking back!!

I haven't been able to find the sit n spin in weeks since they first started marking them down! Would have got one for less than 10 bucks but I guess it's better I don't find them, at least, that's what my hubby thinks! HA!

The prices usually end up the same buying from AG as buying on QVC, but the good thing about QVC is sometimes they have certain ones on a payment plan and in these hard times, that helps alot! :)

I've signed up for every email I can find for them and never get an email about anything! Drives me nuts but then again, they always do!

They did that to me one year with the spray air freshener. It was ringing 19c one day and not found the next. They said they would sell it to me for 1.99 and I was like, no thanks-keep it! It was worth it for 19c but not 1.99!

The ones I bought had it in small print on the top of the package. Think the three packs were regular 2.99??? So 90 off .29!

Quite a snow storm eh! It's about time we got some decent snow here but wish they would have at least closed the schools! I wanted to get to CVS today too but no such luck! DH said stay home! Nothing is that important to risk my life to shop! HA! Hopefully it WILL be better tomorrow!

I'm still looking for my barbie if anyone sees the 2009 Holiday barbie (think she was dressed in pink) PRetty sure they are GONE but just in case, thought I'd mention it again!

Dang snow storm! I think last year we had a ton of snow the day the 75 toy sale started but I still made it over there. This year DH said not to go out, the roads were too bad! UGH! Maybe no one else will make it.....then again, who am I kidding-those scalpers make it out in any kind of weather!

we ended up giving a bunch of our beanies away at a garage sale! (and GOODWILL)

All of the stores around me but one will NOT check stuff for you, you have to wait till they are done scanning everything.......
