  1. We were lucky in 2003. A lake-effect snowstorm hit here in South Bend, IN, on Thanksgiving dumping nearly 8 inches of snow. But the next day there were still a lot of people lining up in front of stores for Black Friday. Most of our roads were cleared out very quickly once the snow stopped so it was not a problem to go out. But it was really, really cold!
  2. I hate them. In fact, beginning this year, I will try to stop myself from buying products that require mail-in rebates. Last year the rebates for two items which I bought at Office Max never came. That means I ended up paying the full price!
  3. It won't affect me. I live less than 10 minutes away from most of the stores (wal-mart, target, best buy, circuit city, office max, etc.). Only Staples is about 30 minutes away and we don't have a CompUSA in town. The closest CompUSA from where I live is in downtown Chicago, which is about 2 hours away.
  4. I'm definitely stopping myself from buying anything before BF, unless that thing I want will surely not be any cheaper on BF. Right now I don't know if the Robosapien (last year's hottest toy) or the new Roboraptor will experience a price cut on BF. Anyone know?
  5. Hi, does anyone know of or can predict the likelihood of the Robosapien toy being on sale on Black Friday this year? :) I failed to get one last year. Maybe this year it will be cheaper.
