  1. Got to Wal Mart at 9:15. Not a cart to be found. RIDICULOUS! Finally found someone who was grocery shopping and they were very kind to give us their cart. Headed inside, total CHAOS in the toys. Some employees who were watching over the pallets were letting people take things, other employees were threatening to have people removed if they were caught with ad items before 10 PM. Missed out on the trampoline and the tennis table (they had handed out tickets earlier in the evening, so my bad for not getting there earlier)Got the other items I wanted while DH was in electronics getting the games. THAT WAS CRAZY. Pushing, shoving, people jumping the line. . .totally disorganized. Employees finally opened the game cages and basically threw the games out to the crowds for them to fight over. DH was a trooper and got all the XBox games on the list. Checked out and had no problem with Wal Mart price matching from the Target ad even with Target not being open yet. Next stop, Target. Line was wrapped entirely around the outside of the store. Found everything we wanted including the Table Tennis in the Wal Mart ad that I failed to score and Target even price matched it for us when they technically shouldn't have since the one they were selling was a Target Exclusive. Price matched a couple other items at Target with no issue. DH and I were home by 2 AM. Overall, very disappointed at Wal Mart. I think opening up at 10 PM made it INSANE since most of the people in there were just wandering around like it was Family Shopping Time. Target by far was the better shopping experience.
  2. Just had the BEST PM experience at Target. They price matched the Table Tennis set in the Black Friday ad from Wal Mart even though the one sold at Target says Target Exclusive. So, for the one that was on special for $88, they gave it to me at the Wal Mart price of $67. So over the moon happy since I missed out on the one at Wal Mart because I wasn't there early enough to get a ticket. They also PM they Toy Story Operation game from the Wal Mart ad. Target was AWESOME this year!
  3. There were employees guarding the pallets at the store we went to. But, then I was seeing people with items in their carts. The employees told me that if they found people taking things out early, they would be escorted from the store. Well, that obviously wasn't being done since everyone had stuff in their carts early. So bummed because last year things were so much smoother. Frenzied, but much more organized. We couldn't even find a cart, had to follow someone out that was checking out to bum their cart off of them.
  4. Ours was pure CHAOS! You had to be in line for the games, but people were just jumping the line, so my DH waited by the cages inside the Electronics department and the employees were just opening the doors and basically throwing the games out for people to fight for them. Very poorly managed, but we were patient and got what we wanted.
  5. I went in with ad in hand to WalMart, there in front of me was a sign stating the Lego Harry Potter was a misprint and they were sorry for the inconvenience. The Wal-Mart CSR wouldn't budge, so I just told them no worries, I'll take the ad to Target or Best Buy for an adjustment. He was very snotty with his "Good Luck", so off to Best Buy I went and had no issues at all! So in short, if your Wal-Mart isn't going to honor, there are other stores who will!

    Good Luck!

  6. I found the Crayola Crayon Maker at Michaels for $39.99! YIKES! It was in the KMart ad for $19 and price dropped at Wal Mart for $20, but of course they were out. The Crayon Maker was on sale at Michaels, so they wouldn't let me use the 40% off coupon, but when I mentioned the lower prices at KMart and WalMart, the customer service rep just matched WalMart's price. I know they had the Glow Dome there as well (Michaels).

    Good Luck!
