My Kindle arrived the other day and I found that cell phone charger worked just fine. Charged it in about 4 hours similar to the fast one.

Just a quick note: It says "Arriving soon! Order now for shipment in 2 to 4 weeks" so it sounds like they may not make it for Christmas. Jenise

I have an ACER I got through Tigerdirect over a year ago (to replace my HP) and it works great. I use it for college (more papers and projects than I can could right now), playing games, music, LOTS of photos, and even my kids use it occasionally. Jenise

Several factors will play in: a) what the sales are is DH home or depoyed overseas c) are we going to be home or down in OK at MIL (which we go down into Texas for BF) :)

I think it all depends on a lot of things. I could handle a few say 3-4 people but not 10-20 or such. When we have our Military commissary caselot sales (everything is bulk and have very good deals most of the time) my friend and I save each others spots because one of us has to get the kids off to school. The sales start at 10 am and we line up about 5 am or even before (some people camp out even, lol). My husband would take the kids over to her house on his way to work then she got them on the bus at 7:10am then come over. Even at 5 am I usually am #10-15 in line, lol. Just lots of factors..... I just buy the refill kits and refill my cartridges. I bought a kit from Sam's about 3 years ago and still working on it. As for the cartridges I refill them as many times as I can (until the quality that it prints out gets bad or doesn't print) then I just go buy a new printer (inexpensive ones). I only use the color printer for Print Shop projects and for making the family calendars each year. I want to say I can fill a cartridge about 5+ times (this is a HP cheap one).

Not at a retail store, but at the food places. I worked for about several years the opening shift. It's busy, fun, frustrating, stress etc. all at the same time.

I am a take it or leave it type for BF. It all depends on what the sales are and where. I live about 1 hour from all the good stores which are in Kansas City. That place is crazy enough trying to drive in on a normal day so there is no way I am going on BF. Here we only have Walmart, Sears (appliances, tools), small JcPenny's, Radio Shack, small Kmart. Now when we go visit DH's family in southern OK then I go with MIL down to Texas. Last year DH was in Iraq and there was no way I was taking 3 children with me, kinda defeats the purpose. I think I might try to go this year around here. Dh likes the laptop... lol.
