I get newspapers from the 2 bigger cities every morning, even started buying them just incase my ads were missing. My mail carrier has changed and our new one is messing up big time with delivering my mail to someone else and I'm getting someones mail from across town. My address is xxxx xxxx Street and this other persons address is xxx xxxx Place. Then some of my mail that's still in my wife's maiden name is being returned to sender because I guess this new carrier didn't realize she's supposed to deliverto the address and not the name. Hopefully, I won't have wasted a trip to WalMart Friday morning, waiting in line. Thanks everyone

Also wanted to add that some of the things the site has posted here for BF are not correct. I just wanted to double check the actual ad before leaving and standing in line.

Thanks for the info, but our town only has a paper on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I checked the paper on Sat. and no ad. The town isn't putting out a paper this Wednesday due to the holiday. Just one of those things with small towns I guess. I also checked WalMart online before posting here, the newest ad they have ended on Nov.5th.

I've been expecting to get a WalMart sale paper for Friday's early bird sale, and still haven't gotten a paper. Went to the local store to see if they had any out, and they didn't. The only reason I ask, is that I saw on here the Jeep 4x4 was supposed to be on sale. I just wanted to make sure it was before I got myself out of a warm bed to go stand in line waiting for them to open. Would appreciate any replies.

My wife and I were going to pick up our youngest DS the Fisher Price musical chair for his birthday. We were at our local Walmart last week and they had them advertised for $24.77. My mother just purchased one for my neice the day before. Anyway, we decided to wait to get it until we actually saw it put together. Fast forward one week (this past Thursday). We go back into Walmart to pick one up since our son seemed to like playing on my neice's. We looked at the sticker and of course it said $24.77, get to the checkout and it's ringing up $29.77. My wife said something to the cashier, she called for the manager. The store manager gets over there and said, she was sorry that someone forgot to remove the sticker, but those chairs have alays been $29.77 and the only time they would be on sale for $24.77 is the day ofter Thanksgiving. My wife just dropped it and didn't say anything more. We go over to my mother's that evening, she still had her receipt, and yes, she got the chair for you guessed it $24.77. A couple of our friends bought theirs the day before we did and they got theirs fro $24.77. I just find it terribly funny that Walmart will have it for their black friday sale for $24.77 making people think they are getting a bargain, when in fact it's been $24.77 at this Walmart since they first got it in. We also noticed a few other things from what's supposed to be on "sale" that day from Walmart, most we had alredy purchased before viewing this website. Most of those things we got for the same "sale" price they're advertising for black friday. I looked in the store today to see if I noticed any mark ups. And yes, they were marked up from $5 to $10 higher than what we paid for them a few weeks ago. So, I will be staying home that day to avoid the traffic and crowds, knowing they aren't really getting too great of a deal. And just FYI...our local Walmart already has the computers, dvd players and tvs at the black friday prices.

DH always has Thanksgiving and the day after off. I had always requested off for BF and told them they could either approve it or do without me since i never take a vacation or ask for time of, even work when I'm sick, so they always approve the day off. This year, I put in for some vacation time since I have 14 days of it I need to use up. They changed the policy and if it's not used by Dec.31, we lose it. So I'm taking Nov 23 - 25 technically off on Saturday and Sunday. Then the rest of my time gets used up over christmas and I put in to have the first week off in Jan. just so I could shop and watch ballgames.
