I checked with our Free Library of Philadelphia which as a PA resident I can join for free (out of state is $15) and they have a lot of the new releases. There are several branches within the library system. I will be getting the Nook and will sign up for Overdrive and get my books thru them. I wont be buying books since it works out too expensive for me since I read so much.

Ok I have a question for Nook owners who have the Nook with wi fi/3G Can you tell me if you can get onto Amazon, Gottadeal and Facebook with the Nook. A friend already checked and she was able to get on all 3 with the Kindle Wi fi/3G I am just wondering exactly what the Nook/Kindle can do as opposed getting a tablet which can also be an Ereader Thanks for any and all help.

Sams club will have the 250gb with 4 games and a headset for $349 TRU will have the 250gb with a $50 gift card (card is not active for 6 hours after purchase) Those are the only 2 I see for now. The others are all for the 4gb

I think the one being offered on BF is the 4th Generation with cameras. The $225 is the regular price for it and the gift card is an extra deal.

I need some help here. What do you think of the Android Tablet for sale in the Kmart BF ad? To use it what would I need extra for it. I want to use it as an ereader and also to be able to get online when I am out so I dont miss any deals on Gottadeal;) I am new to this tablet stuff and dont really understand it, but if I can combine both those things then I think for me it would be better than getting a separate stand alone ereader. Went to F&F tonite. Was very happy to see pillow pets and find out my DD wanted one in the worst way. They were in a bin marked $9.99 with Pillow Buddies. I would get her the touch. If that is all she wants then go for it. If she wants other stuff she will have money that she can get it with the sales after Xmas. You did not mention how old sh is. If she is at least a tween then I am sure she understands that money is tight if you explained it to her. You would be fulfilling her wish by getting it for her.

We do a real tree. Growing up we had the fake trees. When DH got married and moved into our own home we started doing a real tree and even with the mess I could not go back to a fake one. I love the smell of a real tree

I have a 32inch Westinghouse I purchased at BB on BF 2006. It works great. I want to et the 40inch at Taret, but the chances of me getting once are slim to none since it is going to be such a popular item.

I am not too sure I just ordered our library cards today. I assume you go into the Philadelphia Library system and put in your card #. Or maybe there is a link from them that takes you into the Overdrive system where you register with your card # to borrow nook books. I downloaded the Nook to my computer so as soon as I get my card I will try it out. I plan on getting myself a nook for Xmas.

I was just going to post this too. I just got this exact response from an email I sent them.

BB will not price adjust during the doorbuster period. They sometimes will later on in the door. The Nook is a doorbuster so you wont be able to get it adjusted. They use the customer service are during the morning hours. I am also looking at the 8GB upgraded desktop for my DS. Just need to know what kind of graphics card it has to see if it will run an Engineering program he is getting from school.

Ah thanks so its another gadget, When I am watching TV my laptop is next to me (lol) I was just wondering if I should get something like that to take with me when I go out to have access to the internet. Would that work? Say I am out shopping, or at a swim meet I dont want to miss whats going on here on GD, would the android tablet work so I could check in on GD while away from home. Can you tell I am addicted to GD. Do I have to have wi fi or does it have 3g so I can get on the internet.
