DS and I will be home alone this year. No family in the area and all our friends are going out of town. But it will be fun anyway, we will bake and watch the parade and put up Christmas decorations.

OOh, knee pads! She'd love knee pads, and Gardening stuff cuz she is having a friend help her fix up her yard. Spiffy! Thanks, I could do a themed basket type of thing.

She's 57. Main interests are Church, Family, Tennis (She has all the gear already) and she's putting herself threw school right now. She has a gym membership :) Not really into crafts, she only ever does them when I go to visit.

I have figured out what I am getting everyone but my Mother. It's really bugging me cuz she isn't HARD to shop for but nothing is coming to mind. She doesn’t need clothes, just took herself on a little shopping spree cuz she lost a bunch of weight. She likes personal things but has a gazillion pictures of us up already, she doesn’t like jewelry but a #1 Grandma necklace went over real well one year as did a foot bath another year. She's a pretty simple gal who just worked real hard to make sure her kids were taken care of. So now that I can I like to give her something she will enjoy. Oh and she is a fan of practical stuff. One year an ex got her a drill set and she went crazy over it lol I would get her a chain saw to go with it but she already has one

I went and rented two Christmas movies, and baught Christmas with the Krancs....They guy at the counter was looking at me like I had "CRAZY" stamped on my forehead. But I dont care, I am enjoying my movies hehe.

Oh-My-GOSH! I think I'm in love...I went to costco to see if they had an advent calendar someone mentioned in another thread and they have a 5 ft tall nut cracker Santa! I have a compulshion when it comes to nut crackers, and I want him! lol:gdcool:

Our doller store carrys them some times...they arent half bad for a buck.

I like cash :) And on top of that I have this HUGE change bucket I intend to roll all the coins and turn them in before thanksgiving hehe...the bank is gonna hate me.

I buy for DH and DS of course. My mom, brother, father and mother in-law and my bro and sister in-laws and close friends. This year I am making special personalized Christmas wreaths for my Mother in-law and sister in-laws :) I send cards and make baked goods for other people and for little Christmas "thank yous".

DH to be safe and happy and come home in one peace. The new baby to stay healthy and be born with all ten fingers and ten toes.

No way, cool! Looks like I need to make a trip over to Costco...been wanting a nice one for a while now.

I am looking for a sale all the way up threw the new year to get us a new bed frame, and we need a little twin frame for our son since the new baby will be coming. So....yes, if I see anything and don't have what I want already :)

Come to think of it I have no clue what they do in San Diego. On base they have a little Christmas carnival every year. Now that the little man is getting older I will be keeping my eyes open for things to do :)

I think they still have them at the Wal-mart down the street. But they didnt have them out, there was a sign saying to ask for an associate to help you. Weird.

Hehe, I have no choice I HAVE to live here. This is our duty station Home is WA and UT and snow snow snow. I like dealing with it, shoveling walks, bringing in fire wood...I'll trade, my sun for your snow! I am visiting both halves of the family for two weeks and intend to shovel the walk every chance I get.

Yeah, I think I will end up shipping the majority and just bring the little things unwrapped. I would have a tantrum if they unwrapped my stuff, eep!

I live where it's warm in the winter and it's depressing....I miss my snow, at least I get t go home for the holidays. I am gonna kiss the snow as soon as I see it LOL

We don't live where it gets cold anymore but used to. I hate when my toes get cold so I baught these socks you can put batteries in and they heat up lol.

Whenever it starts coming on the radio. My MIL says that they already have a station where she lives that is playing Christmas music

My Mom does this every year big time. I am gonna do fudge and some kind of little cakes just havent picked one out yet :) And I will probably end up helping my MIL when I head over that way, it's gonna be fun!
