  3. We do stockings. They get filled on Christmas eve and my boys unload all the goodies after all the presents have been opened:)
  4. Main tree is done in the ornaments the kids made, ornaments from all the places we have lived( military family) and ornaments we have recieved as gifts. The only thing I do to change the look each year is to change the bows and tree skirt. Last year they were red and green plaid this year they will be gold. We also put up a white tree in the dining room, last year it was done in all gingerbread and candy canes, this year Im doing a candy land theme. The boys have table top tree's in their rooms with whatever mini ornaments they pick out.
  5. I bought aqua dots and had to return them because of the recall:(
  6. My Dollar Tree carries them:)
  7. I love the fossil purses. Good choice:)
  8. I love bags and have a ton of them. Around this area Vera Bradley, Zathy von Zealand and coach bags are what most everyone carries. Fossil is another one. With the exception of the coach bags the others can be purchased for under $100. I have several vera Bradley bags that range from $40- $60 for a decent size.
  9. Santa gifts are unwrapped and left in front of the tree. Stockings are also filled and set up with the santa gifts. This is how my mom did it so I have done the same with my boys. All the wrapped gifts are from mom, dad and grandparents:)

I love to wrap and am half way done with my Christmas wrapping already:cheesy: I do it different every year. This year I had so much paper left over from the last few years that im not doing a theme.
  11. Tanger outlets in Myrtle beach sc opens at midnight:) They have the hours on their website:)
  12. We have one 7ft tree in our dining room that doesnt really have a theme. We have table top trees in the boy's rooms. No theme just whatever small ornaments they pick out. This year I want a white tree to put in my kitchen with a turquoise and red color theme and some gingerbread ornaments. I also want to put a 5ft tree in the living room with a black/gold or gold and ivory color theme.

    stocking stuffers

I usually wait until after black friday to do stockings. This year for the boys I plan on putting in books, mechanical pencils, boxer briefs, toothbrush, body spray or cologne, candy,GI joes and each a new dvd. I usually end up buying more than the stocking will hold so some things end up as small wrapped gifts for under the tree:)
  15. I have 7 teachers to buy for this year so I am trying to keep it around $5 to $10 each. Last year I did BBW hand sanitizer and hand lotion that I got on sale black friday. I may do that for some of the teachers this yr. I am a room mom for youngest DS's class and his teacher filled out a " favorite" list that I sent out to all the parents. I will buy something off her list for her like chocolates and coffee:) I wish all the teachers had filled out the list since it makes it so much easier.
  16. Garage in storage containers and on shelves in my closet. Ive wrapped some already and unfortunatly I cant remember what they were:o
  17. I have 3 boys 11, 9, and 7. We do one big Santa together gift ( wii this yr) and 3 smaller wisemen gifts that are all left out unwrapped infront of the tree. From DH and I we get them the same amount of gifts and we try to keep the money spent around the same for each.We dont really have a set amount since I shop for Christmas all year long. I would say I have spent around $200 each but it was spread out over 10months. I havent done stockings yet but Im thinking about $20 each on those.
  18. Gifts first then we do breakfast. This year I think I may just buy some donuts since we do an early lunch:)
  19. I have several cute Christmas t shirts and socks that I start wearing in December. Every weekend we watch a different Christmas movie. We burn our Christmas only yankee candles...alternating between the Home for the Holidays scent(my fave) and the Christmas cookie scent( DH fave). Each week Im make at least 2 different goodies, either candy or cookies. The week of Christmas we go look at the Christmas light displays on the boardwalk. Christmas eve after the kids go to bed DH and I watch a Christmas movie by ourselves and share a bottle of champagne:)
  20. I wrap as I feel like it. When im in the mood I pull out a pile of gifts and wrap several at a time. Santa gifts arent wrapped in our house. I usually use 6-7 different wrapping papers but I like the idea of using a different paper for each kid.
  21. The 2nd week of December. I usually get my tree up the Monday after Thanksgiving then we take a family photo in front of it. We use snapfish for photo cards and it takes about a week to get them back then I drop them in the mail:)
  22. I love making Christmas goodies. I usually start the second week of December and go straight until Christmas day. I make more candy than I do baking though. Baking is usually just a few different types of cookies and banana bread.
  23. I try to always match the number of gifts under the tree.
  24. I have 3 boys and they each get 3 santa gifts, stockings, and one joint gift from Santa. All the presents under the tree are fom DH and I and the gifts they buy for each other. Christmas eve they get to open 2 gifts, one is a fun one from dad and the second is new pajamas from mom:)
