  1. Mom2monkies- we just moved from San Antonio and always had Seaworld passes. You can updgrade oncew you're there but with the price you paid it wil cost a bit more to. Normally the one day ticket was like $46 and you could get a season pass for like $52 so it was a nominal difference. Never seen any other discounts for there through. YOu can find some for Six Flags in SA pretty regular.
  2. Unfortunately not in San Antonio. I also noticed the prices at the store are more on many items than they are on the website. A little puzzled by that when they said they wouldn't match their online prices at the store.....
  3. this was the 80 gb version. The special was for the 80. I just called and they said they have 6 more here as well. Unbelievable....
  4. I went to walmart this morning to pick up a few essentials for the house and also in the hope I might have a shot at the PS3 deal with the free movies. I arrived around 0715 (45 minutes before sale began) and there were only 30-40 people in the entire store. I hit the Mickey D's for breakfast and picked up my items and when i went back to electronics there were only 2 other folks in front of me waiting for the deal. All of were allowed to go to the -site-to-store section and pick out our movies (great selection- got all the die hards, casino royale- many great movies-including pixar films) and was checked out with the PS3. With a free copy of motorstorm! 2 yr service plan (which doesn't begin until after the sony warranty runs out in 1 year) for $28.88 and I feel like I got the deal of the year. Now I'll send in for my other 5 free movies from Sony and I'll be an even happier camper. I already had a 10 month old 60GB PS3 which I'll be listing on ebay with my old copy of motorstorm and a movie or two which should sell for almost what I paid today for the new one today. The store manager was shocked more folks weren't in line for this one as he says it may be the best deal he's seen Wally world have in his 17 years with the company. We figured it helped that it was 38 degrees and raining here today (when folks in South texas see temperatures below 40 and precipitation they start praying because they think the world is ending...I've never lived anywhere where folks are so afraid of "cold" weather but that is another story in and of itself)He also added they will be honoring this sale through tomorrow at midnight so when they get another shipment later today those will be for sale also. This means if you failed to get the deal today don't hesitate to try again tomorrow. Best deal I've ever got at WalMart- bar none! Gotta jump on this one if you have a chance.
  5. Just saw a 65" Mitsubishi DLP (1080p) on sale today for $1199. That is a savings of over $700. Also they have the Olevia 47" 1080p LCD for $1099. Both still available online and both a steal at the price. I already have 2 HDTV's at home (56" and 60") and am still fighting the urge to get one of these. Both are great deals for anyone who has been looking for a big 1080p television. Best part- available today!
  6. I bought one thinking it was a pretty good deal. I just spent $400 at circuit city about 3 months ago on one with half the DDR and a smaller hard drive and at the time it was a steal as well, one of those 8 hour deals and limit one type thing. I think this price is awfully hard to beat now. Who's to say 3 months from now but today this is a great deal.
