I got one yesterday at TRU. No coupon though.

I am hoping against hope Game boy advance and some game boy games go on sale. Also a great portable DVD player.

Just a thought. Last year's TRU holiday book had some great early prices that expired before BF. I bought my son a V-smile cheaper then the prices on BF. If you can I would wait until at least the end of OCT or beg of Nov til that book comes out. Unless it is a mega hot item like Elmo Tmx, Barbie Elmo Tmx or some hot video equipment that has very few quanity. I know I bought Elmo TMX at reg price and I was so glad I did not wait.

If I buy one the week before BF will they price adjust or are they packaged differently for BF. Also does TRU price match on this item.

Thank you Thank you. I ordered some Hanukah plates and keepsake boxes for family members and my son's hebrew school teacher. 10 items for under 24.00 with shipping. Yipee .

These where not in bins but in a huge display all nice and neat in the middle of the store. They still had the bins by electronics but those movies where %5.50 not 4.88 like in the display. The display was nice and neat and easy to read titles.

Check the TRU thread for the week of 10/15-10/21 sales ad they have a little tykes sale buy any item over 19.99 and get one at 19.99 or lower free. They also had some little tykes items on sale but I do not remember seeing a kitchen just a playhouse.

My local Coach store in Palm Beach Gardens, FL had a storewide sale last July for one weekend when everything in the store was 25% off. The store manager said they do it about 2 or three times a year. It was needless to say a great sale they even had shoes 40% off and then the additional 25% off. If you have a Nordstrom or Nordstrom outlet they also carry Coach and do discount from time to time.

I am Jewish and I use BF to shop for Hanukah. Hey every little bit of savings helps and consdering I have to buy 8 gifts for each of my two kids, and DH. WE also buy gifts for other friends and family so if it were not for BF we would not be able to do it any other way. DO NOT FEEL GUILTY. GO OUT AND HAVE A GREAT BF.

Thank you for all the advice. They are great suggestions however my DS just informed me that he cannot find his gameboy and we have turned our house upside down looking for it. So he is probally going to only want a new Gameboy. Any suggestions as to who has the best price on BF. Also do they put games on sale on BF I love this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Hi I would love some suggestions as to some hot toys for my 5 year old son. All he says he wants is game boy games and I would love to find him something else.

My 18 month old is getting the little people Dollhouse and airplane ,a princess hooded towel which was on sale at target this week for $10.00 Elmo Tmx which we already gave her since I wanted to see how that darned thing worked after all the trouble I went through to get it. My 5 year old is getting a bicycle and whatever else I can find on black friday.

I just got a booklet from TRU today titled "All the Hottest Toys are here Now" It is a coupon book good from 10/8-10/28 with coupons for various items like buy two get one free magnetix, Also 20% off coupon on the back for one clothing or shoe item. 20% off bob the builder toys and movies, and some buy two get one free items from Melissa and Doug. Hopefully the Holiday book is just around the corner.

Hi Everyone, When I was at Toys R Us yesterday I asked about the 2006 mascot and they did not know. However they did mention another Elmo (not tmx) promotion that was coming up. I think it is another stuffed elmo at a discounted price with certain purchase. Hopefully the 2006 holiday book will come out soon.

I was just thinking that every year in the tru holiday book they have a large stuffed animal for $5.00 with a $75.00 Purchase. Wonder what the character will be this year. Las year it was Winnie the Pooh.
