  1. Is it just my computer, or is the website incredibly slow?
  2. I do NOT think a 9 year old wrote that. Possibly his parents, but not even an older sibling. I bought the Hyperscan for my 5 year old for his birthday in March. I hope he likes it. He had a Vsmile, Vsmile pocket, Telestory Console, and a game boy...I wanted to add to his collection. I got a second controller for DH to play with him. Hopefully it is fun. I don't think it is supposed to be very challenging. That's kind of the point of the age range. Most kids in that age group are no video game whizzes.
  3. We've bought six sets total of the pike street flannels. They are awesome. We got a tiny hole in the bottom of our queen size top sheet, but we have a dog and cat that sometimes play too rough so I'm not sure if it is the sheets or the brats that live with us. :) I wouldn't hesitate to buy more. Actually, I'm plannin on buying sheet sets as christmas presents for next year if I get them super cheap again.
  4. I got mine through amazon for the 4.99 It is HUGE. It is a lot bigger in person than what it looks like on the screen. I was very impressed.
  5. Wow, you must have the best parties on the block! We don't do goody bags yet. Too many family members. I want to wait until the kids have school parties and only have 5 or 6 people over.
  6. I'm lucky that my son is still happy with his V-smile equipment. I really dread it when he has to have the "happening" stuff. I love this website though...besides some of the stuff I purchased on Ebay, most of their gifts came from either Amazon or Walmart clearance, so I saved big bucks. It also helps that his cousins are still into the cheaper game systems. If they had all the really expensive new stuff, it could get sticky around Christmas.
  7. I shop pretty much all year for my two kids, ages 5 and 3. This year, I cut back because of behaviour issues from Last Christmas. They each will have 13 things under the tree: Tyler, my five year old: Gameboy advance with all accessories, and 8 games, a huge remote control truck, batman viewmaster set, Crash Dummy Set, Phantom Lagoon, Video, Another Crash Dummy, Christmas Search and Find book, Game boy Bag, 2 Game boy videos, and a few marvel superheroes. Then his stocking stuff. I spent about $165 on him. For Macayla: Baby Alive, Baby Alive clothing set, Koala Bros. viewmaster set, Remote control car, Sweet streets 3 piece set, 2 polly pocket sets, Video, Christmas Search and Find Book, Cinderella dress up magnets, and a few more disney princess, strawberry shortcake type stuff...And after stockings, hers added up to about $165. I got great deals though. I saved I would have to say more than on average 50% on everything I purchased. They will have a ton. Plus, they get from two sets of grandparents, three sets of greatgrandparents, two aunts/uncles, and five sets of great aunts/uncles. They get a TON. Definitely more than they need. :) In total, my budget for everyones shopping this year was $700. That's for parents, kids, brothers, sisters in laws, grandparents, and I do lots of goody making for the aunts and uncles, and teachers/bus drivers. P.S. We live every other paycheck to paycheck. I budget pretty well, but if DH's health was to fail, we'd be screwed. But we pay for everything with cash, (Or put it on CC and pay it off as soon as the bill comes in.) I wonder how many people that are spending over $1000 per child are paying cash? I just simply can't afford to spend that much, unless I was to charge it. And I DON'T want to pay interest! (We got into credit card trouble when we were younger, and learned our lesson! )
  8. Can you use this code for the special sale on Sunday to save even more?
  9. I wanted to order online! That stupid scheduled maintenance is RIDICULOUS!!! Who the heck does that on BF???
  10. I got mine reconditioned last year on Amazon for $125, and I LOVE it. I use it all the time. Was it worth the money? EVERY PENNY!!! God I love my appliances. I have found out even through cheapness, it does pay to buy quality when one can afford it. It's great for making bread too. I hate kneading dough, and the dough hook is awesome.
  11. I just got my three sets in. 2 twin sets for the kids, and a queen set for us. There was a lot of lint in the dryer, but hello...they are FLANNEL! I love them. They are really cozy feeling, and I don't think they are any thinner than what you'd get for the $40 flannels at WMart. The kids sets had the mittens and hats on them, and are super cute. I bought pink for our bed, as it is my favorite color. I'm so in love with Amazon right now!
  12. Mint condition, imo, is when something has been used by someone, but still looks and operates as new.
  13. Ebay. My son is 5, so I bought him a mint condition used system for Christmas, with 8 games, and a TON of accessories for $48 including shipping. They have new, refurbished, used, and used in mint condition for relatively cheap.
  14. Shoot...the JC penneys here is closed by now.
  15. I'm looking for a size 7 boys one piece snowsuit. New or used. I just don't want to spend $50 or up on something he is sure to outgrow QUICKLY! TIA Miranda
  16. I just got two game boy advance games...the fairly odd parents and spongebob, for $13.07 including shipping. Awesome Christmas presents!
