  1. Hi! I'm looking to purchase a new refrigerator, however looking at the prior years Black Friday ad's, I'm hesitant to do so because I'm anticipating some great deals. My question is, has anyone purchased appliances online on Black Friday at Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, Best Buy, etc.? I would hate to wait until Black Friday to save money, and then not be able to actually purchase a refrigerator. Thoughts? Thank you in advance!!
  2. My parents ordered some of these and I'm sorry to say, they got screwed. Backordered items that won't be received but were charged for, 2 day shipping charges when it's been two weeks, etc. I don't recommend dickies.com at all!
  3. I was really peeved at the selection of jeans they had at our walmart. They only had regular fit for men, the kids sizes couldn't be found, and the womens Lee jeans were only black and in very limited sizes! I'll be going to a different Walmart today in the hopes of finding something I couldn't get yesterday.
  4. Slippers Pajamas Lee Jeans for me and DD Wrangeler jeans for DH and DS Sweatshirts Queen sheets Stanley 1.1 qt thermos (great for hunting!) $2 DVD's (great stocking stuffers!) Nerf Guns Videogames
  5. Shoot! I got the newsletter and since it's mostly junk I didn't read it.
  6. I had to do it. I checked it out, and ended up ordering two sets. I only have one boy, but I had thought that I can either give it as a gift, or can resell on Ebay in the fall and make a little off it. The shipping and two sets brought the grand total to 11.93...can't complain there! I just hope DS likes them.
  7. I ordered the Dash backpack and lunch box set, and also the Tinkerbell sheets for DD for Christmas. I just redid her room a couple of months ago, in Tink, so it'll be cute. Great gift for $7.99!!!
  8. A lot of the prices have gone up. That's too bad.
  9. The littlest pet shops is a good price too. I bought one of each, and when I got them I ordered another of each for presents for kids in the family. They are super cute. The fisher price dinosaur set is pretty big also. (I pretty much put in two orders the same, except the second order I ordered 3 pablos instead of just one. I want the girl doll too, but I want to wait and see if the prices come down some first. )
  10. I got the pablo and it is adorable. Even my six year old thought he was cool, which is not common in this house!!! :)
  11. Wow, I didn't know that! That's great!!! I'd be willing to pay a little more per pair had I known that!!!
  12. Thanks for that website. I just checked it, and they don't have what I'm looking ofr. I'm hoping that spring will hurry up and get here in Vermont...he has plenty of shorts he can wear! I'm really hating to buy him more pants at this point, since he won't be wearing them much. I don't have much of a choice though. I did just bid on a lot of three pairs of new jeans on ebay, but I'm sure I won't win them for the price I bid. Thanks for the help. Miranda
  13. Yes, I tried ebay...but it seems like to get new jeans you have to spend more than the $8 per pair, or you are buying used jeans in the same condition that his jeans are in now. I hate knee marks!!! I swear, since he started school he has gone through more clothes, shoes and what not in this one year than he did his first 5 at home!!! It's ridiculous!
  14. I need jeans for my son. I want them CHEAP. I'm talking less than $8 per pair cheap. He wears them out so quickly, that I can't see forking out the money on "good" jeans. He is only 6, and seems to be having a growth spurt again around the middle. :) I need an online source for cheap jeans though, because there are no major places to shop anywhere around where I live. The closest outlet stores are 2+ hours away. So Walmart, JCPenneys, Kohls, all that is about an hour from me. It's easier to just get his jeans online. TIA. Miranda
  15. I love Sears. I've bought two washer/dryer sets, a fridge, and an under counter convection oven through them. The first washer set I bought, I ended up selling to my brother because I wanted a front loading set. (They were five years old, and still running like new. Now they are six years old, and no complaints from my brother or SIL.) The fridge is six years old as well, and still is also running like new. The oven is awesome. It is SS, which I would prefer not to have, but had to go with that model because of the size of my cupboard where I was putting it. Overall, I love sears. And the rebates you can get are awesome!
  16. I have used both bidz and the silverjewelryclub. Both were great for me. It isn't necessarily true you get what you pay for. My mom did have a problem with bidz at one point because of extremely slow shipping, but it was taken care of.
  17. My kids are in desperate need of new pajamas, and I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. My little girl is three, and in size 4/5, and my son is 5, and in size 7/8. Does anyone know of any really good deals right now? I don't care if they are summer or winter pj's, I just need pjs! Thanks in advance
  18. I have the purple Dyson and a canister GE from Walmart. The D is good for major vacuuming, bur it doesn't do well in reg. floors. I end up getting out my cheap vac to do my kitchen and bedroom floors. (Hardwood)
  19. Ebay, ebay, ebay. I have gotten many gems from there, genuine, and they aren't always expensive. You have to watch the auctions closely. It's a great place to start a collection. Also jtv.com, which is jewelry television. My mom works with gemstones and makes a lot of jewelry. It's stupid to buy from a jewelry store when you can get top gems from JTV for less. Check it out...you will be surprised.
  20. I have my front loader on the second floor, and it is a lot quieter than my old regular washer. We have no problems with vibration...just make sure the washer is level and you should be fine. *I don't have mine on a pedestal.
  21. I just ordered. I bought enough fabrics to do the front and backs of two quilts, and got free shipping with the code for $58.XX. Anyone who quilts knows that that is an awesome price. There were 17 different fabrics. And their quilt backing fabrics, 108", is only $3.20 yd. Awesome deals. I just spent $110 at Joanns on fabric for ONE quilt. Gotta love them deals!
