i stay away from all of them, both sides of the family, and i just quit giving a crap about what everyone thought about me, and i told everyone of them just what i thought of the way i had always been treated.. i dont like drama, i dont like backbiting, hatefilled people. so, i cook thanksgiving dinner for me, dh and our boys, and its quiet, no one has knots in their stomach and i dont get arrested for attacking someone with a turkey baster! haha i guess OP you have to find your comfort zone, but dont forget that you have feelings too and that yours need to be considered as much as anyone elses. i mean why is it fair to have you be around people that you would rather not(for very valid reasons) and cause you discomfort, just so that other people are happy. to me that is selfish and inconsiderate of the other people..... sounds like our families (both sides) were cut from the same cloth. hope your lil one is ok

^^^^^thats how i was going to put it too.:) :) we took a chance about 10 years ago and came upon goose at our local grocery store...cooked it breast side down in a covered roasting pan to ensure tenderness and added seasonings as i would to turkey....doesnt look too pretty, but it sure makes it succulent:gdlicklips: . we live in a relative 'podunk' and i havent seen any locally since then. thats the problem, after i click on the control panel.....i clicked on every link and cant find it. i looked at all of the links to avatar edit, options edit etc..... im either blind or stupid

the big ticket items are always from santa then we have an array of mom and dad gifts..and anything in the stockings are of course from santa..:)

best gifts(s) would have to be the little ornaments my boys made in school with their pictures when they were small. those are so precious to me :) the worst would have to be this gawdawefull bauble bracelett that my MIL gave to me about 10 years ago....im a bit modest and dont really feel comfortable wearing big or lots of jewelry... this 'thang' was too big, too many rhinestones and just plain ugly....she sure showed how much she thought of me i guess she actually got upset when she noticed that i never wore it....
