You might check Kohls. I read the other day on here that Kohls had a really great deal on it...maybe $159?? Not sure if thats right or not but its close to that. 2 years ago I got one from Staples for dh on black friday. I believe it was refurbished and we got a great deal...its still going strong today and we use it everyday in a theater room. Last year Staples had a good deal on a projector too so be sure and check out Staples. You won't regret getting one. We love it! Lisa

I'm wondering the same things about the lumens but also I'm reading the contrast ratio is 16:9 and when I look at the ad I'm seeing 2000:1. HELP! Are the lumens to low and am I missing something on the ratio. Also does anyone know what size screen to buy? Thanks! Lisa:confused:

Hey...I did as a couple of you advised and got the Infocus 4805 Digital Projector at Staples yesterday...But as I'm sitting here looking at the info on it it has a really low lumens on it. I thought the better projectors had higher lumens. Any help or advise is much appreciated!! Present for hubby - I guess I can take it back if needed. Thanks again, Lisa

Okay, I'll admit I'm totally stupid when it comes to projecters...having said that we really want one. We have looked at several brands at Sam's and the cinego at Radio Shack. We don't want to hook it through a computer and I don't think you have to on any of these. So, I still should get the one from Staples? Can you watch your regular cable on it? Hi, I would go out by myself....it honestly (at least in my area) is a fun time. Some people might cut lines - but really I've never experienced anything that I felt unsafe about. It is great going with someone but I would do it by myself. Have fun! Lisa
