  7. I think even costco is a rip off where eyeglasses are concerned. I have had eye exams done by a Optholmologist ( through my Health Insurance) copay 20$. Then went to an eyeglass store got measurements for my eye glasses.(just one visit 3 yrs ago) Then started ordering my eyeglasses through Zenni (http://zennioptical.com/cart/home.php). At 30$/pair rimless, titanium. The quality was good, lasted 1 year,I broke a pair and ordered another , still wearing them. For my son's Glasses, I did the same (Pediatric opthal visit) followed by eye glass size from the Optical shop. Then ordered 2 pairs of gold Flexible Titanium polycarbonate eyeglasses from www.eyeglassdirect.com for about 170$ ( 80$/pair + shipping). (Kids require polycarbonate lense material to hold up against the rough and tough play) He has been using it for the last 1 and a half years with no problems. http://www.eyeglassdirect.com/children-eyeglasses/fkids/flexibletitanium24/3080/Gold/Single_Vision.html

  10. If you are serious runners beware of buying online, they are most likely to be fake. We brought a pair of New Balance 992's on Shoebuy.com, as the price was great. My Spouse who is a serious runner started noticing the color rubbing off on the carpet within 2 months and started having knee and foot problems. We mailed these shoes to New Balance who reported they were fakes.
  11. They are the best. I have used their trail model fleece jacket whole of last winter. Also had a down jacket before but that was too warm for NY and is lying in the closet waiing for a very cold winter. They have great stuff for kids that last forever. Especially their pants!! The canvas pants are great if you have active boys, The average life of any Pants my little guys wore was 1 week, before holes popped up near the knees. That was before I discovered ll bean canvas pants.... now it is 2+ months
