I have a new grandbaby girl and a new daughter-in-law that is coming to our house for Christmas. I am in need of some cute but sturdy Christmas stockings. Do any of you have any ideas where I can order them from?

I have never thought about putting lottery tickets in a stocking but that seems to be a favorite with so many of you. I think I will try that this year! It sounds like fun!!

When my husband was growing up his parents used to put oranges, apples, different kinds of nuts, and Brach's little candies. At my house my parents gave me different personal items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, girl hair bows and clips, stationary, and costume jewelry. Now we kinda blend both of our childhoods together by giving our kids a little of both worlds. How do you do it? :holiday08 :holiday08

My son and I just finished filling out our 8 rebates from Circuit City. It took us about 3 hours because we wanted to make a copy of everything. We started talking and wondering how many people really send in their rebates for the items that they buy. Do you? Interesting fact about rebates (thanks to Wikipedia): -BusinessWeek recently estimated a return rate of just 60 percent. Some estimates have been as low as 2%. For example, nearly half of the 100,000 new TiVo subscribers in 2005 failed to receive their $100 rebates, allowing the company to keep $5,000,000 in additional profit entitled to the customers rather than the company.

I talked to an employee the other day at Sam's Club here in Texas. She said that they were so excited because Sam' Club has figured out that the other stores sell alot of items on BF. This year she said that Sam's Club was going all out for this day. This lady has worked for Sam's for a long time in the camera and picture department. She said that last year she only had 6 cameras for sale on BF. This year the whole store would have many items. I feel like she is a responsible employee. She said to watch out for their flyer in the paper right before or on Thanksgiving Day! I hope this is true!! They would have some terrific deals!

My son waited outside of Sam's on BF so he could be the first one in line. It turned out that he was the ONLY one in line. He said that the employees looked at him like why would you be waiting in line here on BF. They must not have any deals!

I think our Best Buy is really tops! When we buy something the person at the register highlights the Rebate amount, what you need to send in, and the rebate address. It really helps the customer. The one thing I hate about rebates is cutting the UPC Code off of the item bought. I wish they could make it easier for the customer. We usually receive the rebate in 4-6 weeks.

We have a Texas themed tree!

There are four males at my house that love Best Buy! They camp out the night before starting at around 10:30pm to be the first one in line. They have done this for the past two years. Last year however they got there at 10:30 and found that the first people in line had lined up at 8:30pm. Both years they have gotten some really fantastic deals by being the first ones or in the top 10 in line. I'm sure we will be there again!

We love our Senseo machine. You can buy a filter at Walmart for about $10 so that you can put your own coffee into the machine instead of their little pod. The only thing is is that you don't get the foam on top of your cup of coffee.

I have trouble qualifying for Opinion Outpost too, so don't feel bad. Tonight I got an email from them and I couldn't get it to work. It thanked me for signing up with them and then it said to click on this link and the link was something using the word "gift". I couldn't bring it up because their was an error. Did anyone else out there get the same email?
