  1. I feel like Scrooge, but our list is: kiddo dog and cats 2 yo nephew Everyone else gets a letter and/or card, the hubby and I don't even exchange gifts.
  2. Our last encounter with TRU was horrid, and at this point we won't be going back...ever. Long story, but it involved a bicycle that was defective and could not be assembled. We had the sales receipt and asked for either an exchange or a refund four days after buying the messed-up bike, the manager wanted to argue with us, insisted that his assembler could use some sort of hydraulic tool to bend the damaged fork enough to force the bike together. I called the manufacturer of the bike from the store and they said that was an absolutely stupid thing to try, as it would both void the warranty and cause possible safety issues, so we said that we didn't want the broken bicycle, just exchange it for the same one or give us our money back. After going around and around with the manager for 15 minutes, I left the store and called another TRU store to get the district office's number, and started the whole complaint process with them. The manufacturer of the bicycle, after the fifth call to them over the whole fiasco, shipped us a new bicycle overnight via UPS, and all we ended up getting out of TRU was a grudging offer of a refund (after the manufacturer had already replaced the bike) and a $10 off coupon. We won't discuss where I told them to stow the coupon, it wasn't a happy conversation.
  3. D'oh, I must have backwards demographics, I hardly ever qualify for stuff from the sites that everyone else gets lots from, but I seem to do okay with the oddball sites that other people don't usually qualify for, lol.
  4. I joined Opinion Outpost on July 19th, after finding a link to the site on this forum, and have amde $19 with them so far. I requested a check about 4 days ago, so don't know yet how quickly they send payment, but I can say that they're responsive if you send them an email about an issue. I didn't get credited for a survey I took, so I sent them an email, and within 24 hours they'd both sent me a personal email reply (not some canned form response) and corrected the issue.
  5. http://www.datatelligence.com/ I did a search and didn't see anything posted about this comapny previously, so I hope this isn't a repeat or old news to everyone. I just registered so I have no feedback, good bad or indifferent, about the company yet. According to their FAQ, you earn points for surveys, then redeem them for items from their reward catalog once you've reached 1000 points. If you want to see what kind of stuff they offer in exchange for your points, you can visit http://datatelligence.perks.com/ and use "guest" as both the login and password, looks like a whole bunch of different GCs. You don't need any referrals or anything for this one.
