I worry about that too. My kids are 8 and 2. so it's not so mouch the money, but for them it's the number of gifts. The 8 yo cost way more than the 2 yo!!!!! But we set a limit and maxed it put on BF for the both of them.

No, i'm not friends with her mom, but I spoke with her to make sure that it was alright. As I said earlier, she is getting a kick out of them as well. It's just cute. Well, I went to the mall today and picked her up one of the 24 inch white christmas plush Eeore. Was 24.50, on sale for 10.00 and I had a 10.00 GC. So not bad at all. I wanted my son to pick it out, but today was the last day of the sale. I hope she likes it. He said he wanted to get her a stuffed animal. Thanks everyone!!!!

I agree tickets to a sporting event or a concert!!! Or you could get her the mp3 player anyway, she might end up liking it. Or take her shopping!!! Let her pick what she wants and wrap it up. My mom used to do that for me. She would look at what I liked and either bought it then or cam eback for it when I wasn't with her. Good luck

First remember it's the thought that counts!!!!!!!! For the forty year old, bath and body works or VS, maybe a nice robe. For the 20 something that has everything, you could do the same thing or maybe movie passes, a nice robe, a pretty fountain. Candles and bubble bath. What would you want from them? Don't worry about the price, it's the thought!!!! And if they don't like it, at least you tried!!! Get your Dh to pick out stuff for them. He knows them better!! Good Luck

What about some food, maybe make him a gift basket. put snacks, a movie or sports dvd, a book or magazine and a small thing of colgone. put some slippers and a tv guide in it. My dad was always had to buy for too. so i'm right ther with you. good luck

Our Walmart was not organized at all!!!! they had everything in the pallets in brown paper!!!! Just like last year. no employees knew where anything was!!! I went to ask a worker where the robes were and before i got it out of my mouth, she said "i don't know where anything is. I can't tell you where anything is"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I looked at her and told her "well that was rude!!! I was trying to ask about the robes on sale" she said she was sorry!!!!!!! Then the girl checking is out was stupid!!!! we spent over 500.00 and she did not give me my change. closed the drawer right up. i had to wait, just to get my money. I'm sorry, but Walmart better have some amazing deals next year or my money will be spent else where. I thinking about emailing a letter to walmart corp., but i don't think it would do any good. I don't they care!!!

What should I buy for my son's girlfriend? They are in the 3rd grade!!!!! They have been in every class together since first grade. And have "liked" one another since then. Goes to each others BD parties and has talked on the phone. For Easter last year, he wanted to get her something and I said no. He asked again for this christmas. But I spoke to her mom and she's getting a big kick out of this too. So I said he could get her something small. What do yall think? Should I let him and if so what does he give her?

LOL that's my mom!!!!! This year I got her a deep purple terry cloth robe from Sears and a beautiful amethest circle pendant with chain also from Sears. That's her birthstone. I hope she likes it. I know I would. Good Luck.

I could not get to the Vrocker at Walmart. Never even found out where thet were. There we tons of people who bought them, but oh-well. I might get one another day. My son really doesn't need it with all the other stuff we got him, but I know he wants one.

I got my Mom at amethest circle pendant and chain for half off at Sears was 270.00 and I paid 135.00. We also got my son the Nerf BB, great deal on that reg 238.00 got it at Walmart for 99.00. We could not have gotten it, if it wasn't on sale. I think in all we saved 500.00 to 600.00. My DH is now a BF believer!!!! And is very happy that I'm a Gottadealer!!! Thanks Everyone!!!

I would have not gotten to Walmart so early. We got there at 11:30 Thanksgiving night. But then again, we had a blast DH and I got to spend time together alone (without kids) and look and play with all the toys. But WOW, he had a basket with the Nerf BB and I had a basket with allkinds of stuff. But before the blitz started, we found out where the 68.00 Tvs were and he went there with an empty basket. So I had both of the baskets and had to get 3 remote control hummers and then I grabed the 238.00 LCD Tv (just incase). Then I raced to the CP dolls (got 2), but I could not find the Vrockers, but Oh-well (my 8 year old got the Nerf BB, that he had been asking for and I told him it cost to much, so he will he happy). I got a Monster Doddle, but wanted a bear and kept asking people to trade, they all said no. But some sweet girl told me they just brought another box out, so I RAN and got 1. The girl at the check out was hateful.....OMG we spent close to 600.00 and she slammed the drawer shut with giving me my change!!! That took forever to fix. I think she got thrown with all of my gift cards. We had a blast!!!!! But we were so tired!!!!!!!!! We got everyone on our list, except for 1. Wewent to Walmart, Sams Club, went over to Old Navy ( the line was to long, so we left ), went to B&BW and to Sears. We got home before 11:00. My 8 year old son watched our 2 year old for most of the day while we slept!!! I owe him big time!!! I went to Old Time Pottery today and got the last thing I needed ( a big fountain ) for my mother-in-law. Because it would not have fit in the back of the truck yesterday. We spent all cash, money we had set aside just for BF so that was perfect. I hope everyone else had a blast too!!!!
