For our family Easter is a time to spend together outside. A few days before Easter, we have all the kids over to dye eggs. Then we hunt them and play baseball. On easter we go to church, hunt eggs at church, then go eat with family, play some more baseball, then go home and tear open the baskets. I spend around 25.00 per child. Maybe a bit more on they 8 year old, but my 2 year old stuff doesn't cost as much. I don't think that is so bad. I know my list seems like alot of stuff and it is, but..... I got the stuff for very little. And we use the same baskets every year and that helps cut down the cost as well. The baskets turn out beautiful each year. After we pack and ruffle them I will post my pictures here so everyone can see. For me, it's pure enjoyment to make the baskets and to have my kids eyes light up when they see how pretty they are. I like them themed basket ideas too.

Same here!!! I don't mind buy the clearnece stuff because I got like 4 big bags of m&ms for .27 cents. I can break those up and put them in Easter baggies. The candy is a waste because after a couple of days, they don't want it anymore. I would rather spend the money on something that will last and they can get real enjoyment out of. Beside me and Dh eat all the left overs......

Not to be ugly...... But I think this is their way to vent. We all have a way to vent. Yes, it is public, but it is their site. We know they have an opinion, just like they know we have one. I really don't care!!!! If they want to whine and complain about me getting such good deals, oh well, the cashier's job is to take my money, that's ALL. So far I have not had any problems and I don't expect any. I guess I am trying to say is that I don't care if they want to talk about me as a customer because when you get down to brass tax, customers are the reasons the cashiers have their jobs. They just take our money. I don't know these people on the target forum, so I say let them rant and rave because we still get great savings so matter how much they vent.

I feel the same way. We have a Belks across the road in the other mall. I wish they would put in something new and different.

But those are only some of the employees' feelings, not all!!!! I know that doesn't make it right, but the customers (us) get plenty for our money at Target....it's our gain, either way!!! It does not matter where I shop at, I expect people to do their jobs, just as people expect me to do mine. That does not mean they will not have an opinion, nor will I. We do not have to agree with them or them with us. Everyone has something or someone they dislike at work. It is very wrong to have such a public display on the web and I doubt it is approved by Target. But I will not let someone else's bad day ruin my savings!!!! No one should!!!! On that note, I do have target's number programmed in my phone and if I ever were treated unfairly...I would call in a heartbeat!!!!:gdevillaugh:

Here is my question about searching in freebies.... Just some of the time, this happens.... I always do a search before posting ( I have learned ). But sometimes nothing comes up. I post it, come back later just to see my post stopped because it was a repost. Why couldn't I find it when I searched. I usually do a couple of different searches with a few key words. It's just stragne to me. Any ideas?

I love Easter!!!! Me and my Mother in law make easter baskets every year. She used to own a flower shop and she's great at making it baskets, lol, I really just help!!!
