I have the exersaucer from when I had my son and she loves the thing I'm lucky I can get her out of it. I did get her some clothes but that's my mom's fav thing to buy for the kids so I don't wanna get too many. I got my son all sorts of cool toys for his 1st christmas but they had cool boy toys I just don't see that many really cool girls toys. I'll check walmart again tomorrow maybe they have some new stuff. -

Are weebles 6 month old friendly when I was little they were for 18m+?? I was thinking of a care bear or two w/ the DVD from walmart on BF. We have a Baby Einstein that a friend got for her but my son was more interested than she was I liked it though. Thanks for the ideas keep 'em coming. -
I need suggestions on what I should get my 6 month old daughter. I bought her a bunch of Peek-a-Blocks sets and some Roll-a-Rounds but I'm at a loss on what else to get her. Any ideas???

We all open 1 gift.... the special christmas morning pjs gift so we all have something special to wear to bed for when we wake up to open presents.

Dh's parents aren't into material things so were are doing a "gifts in a jar" gift basket with some other things in it. My dad always asks for pjs and to see the kids (since we live 1300 miles away) and I don't know what yet for my mom.

I'm hoping to get gas cards this year I need to drive from LA to NJ to visit family. That's a really good idea.

yup I think it's funny watching people unwrap that little chapstick lol.

I would have to hurt someone if hubby missed a christmas. Thank god he has already been tdy and probabally won't be going again. I'm so sorry for you and your family. My only suggestion is to remind him that he's still here now so no use in being mad till he leaves and messing up the little time he has left before deploying. Hope things get better gotta love the Air Force so family oriented for "their" family. Sorry I'm bitter with the AF too dh can't get leave for after christmas cause all the single guys got it first for New Years but he has to work New Years and Christmas now.

you limit the number of things on your kids christmas lists?

Well I have a 3yr old and a 6 month old (her 1st christmas) their birthdays are in may and june so I really get into christmas I get 1 big thing then a whole lot of other little things (I'm cheap so I get things on clearance and sale). They each get 1 present to open on christmas eve and that's their pjs to wear to bed so they have special christmas morning pjs. But I have a $20 spending limit for my neice and nephew(hubby's side) since my S-I-L and B-I-L don't have much money so it's wrong to "show them up" as M-I-L calls it but she don't realize that I can get a whole new wardrobe for $30 so I end up spending less than $20 so that I can get more than just 1 thing for them. My neices are too old to enjoy what christmas is really about so they don't get anything and I give my nephew $20 cash since they live in the city money always helps it's not like there are many lawns to mow and he's only 10. I worry more about birthdays. -
They also had a pink FP power touch for the same price that came w/ two books.

Hopefully there will be more but so far it's not that bad

I say XBox since it stores memory like cds and stuff too plus all 3 can play together at once. We have one and hubby loves it. Plus it's a DVD player you just need to get the remote rather than the PS2 where you use the controller. I say XBox all the way.

Walmart then BX then Kmart, TRU, and KBToys depending on how their ads look
-
I wanted like $150 worth of stuff but shipping was $95 they only had a code for a free $20 toy if you spent $40 which you had to pay shipping on. I guess I'm not looking in the right places for the free shipping codes. Oh well shopping for toys is pretty much done for now anyway.

Macy's is my fav store I'm sad we don't have one down here but I was always able to find great deals all year back home but I never went there on BF so just keep an eye out for the ads but JCPenny might be the better choice if you're on that tight of a budget.

What kind of portable basket ball net are you looking for??? I got a FP grow to pro basketball net for ds it adjusts from 3' to 6' from Kmart for $35.99 but I've recently seen them cheaper at TRU and walmart.
-
I got a Leap Pad thingy for my 3yr old ds today at TRU for $17.49!!! It's the red and blue one for ages 4-8 and it comes with a book or two. Amazing deal. It was marked $39.99 green tag and there is the 50% off green tag sale so $17.49.
-
I don't really have one it just all depends on what I decide to get since 75% of my shopping is already done. I hope I don't spend too much and I'm hoping to make a little in some Avon sales.
-
I mean after shipping charges is it really that great of a deal??? I was going to buy a power wheels online at TRU for $30 but shipping was like $80 in store the thing is only $100 why is shipping so outrageous?? Is it just me or is it really not worth it for a lot of items?

I want the free $$ too so I'm hoping that there won't be too many people in line at the BX since I want to go to walmart so if walmart opens at 5am and the BX at 6am I have an hour to get in and out. I'd hit the PX first and you can always try to PM there for the mall things you want.
