we always went to my aunts house christmas morning.well after opening presents and stuff like that everybody was helping to make dinner.turkey was done all the big stuff but the sides and everything.anyway throughout the day until we ate everybody was in and out of the kitchen.wel turns out that every time an adult went into the kitchen they would throw a shake of salt into the carrots.when we ended up sitting down to eat everybody turned a sour face when they tasted the carrots.everybody one by one tasted and everybody ended up eyeballing everybody and the carrots had like a lot of salt in them,probably like 1/4 cup for a small dish.from then on we never served carrots and it was always the topic of all get togethers. also with this story goes that when my uncle picked us up that morning he got stuck in the snow(about 2 feet) so he got out to push while my mom drove.my mom had no idea how to drive anything.she drove into a tree.it didn't hurt the car not that i remember anyway

i just came across frozen lemonade pie if anyone would like it. no bake this is good i have made it before

i know this one by heart.my mom used to make these all the time.i do now too just cause of somplicity.over the years i found ingredients added or left out but it is still the same. no bake cookies in a large dutch oven type pan combine 1 stick margarine i box chocolate pudding mix 2 cups sugar 1/4 cup of milk simmer til the butter or margarine melts ten boil and keep stirring for 2 minutes altho i went as far as three minutes.when it is done boiling at a rolling boil take off heat and add 1 tablespoon peanut butter and 3 cups quick cook oatmeal and 1 teaspoon vanilla ..stir together and drop on wax paper by teaspoonfuls.i also most of the time just spread it out in a large cookie sheet. my mom used to say sometimes if it was raining out they wouldn't turn out and i have found that out.i have to still play with the boiling times cause i haven't made them in a while.just recently the pudding was added.up until that was added you just added 1/4 cup baking cocoa or chocolate milk powder ENJOY!

i grew up in the midwest too and back then there was no global efect stuff going on so we had tons of snow like it would snow like 2 feet overnight sometimes.we were by the lake and had lake effect snow.now that i have lived in other parts of the states there is not hardly any snow compared to the midwest.people won't drive in it here so i am lucky to have had the experience driving in tons of snow cause i am not afraid of driving here just afraid of the other drivers!

my best friend got a pair of gold hoops.she kept one and when i opened my gift from her which was a purse i had been wanting and siome perfume there was one hoop earring on a card.she kept one to put in her xtra hole in her ear and i got the other one for the tragus part of my ear.that part of your ear is just above your earlobe.i had to go to a tattoo place to get it done.but that has been 3 years since that christmas and i still have the hoop in that part of my ear
