i always get a name off the tree.i always think if ever i was in that situation i hope someone would do it for me.about a dozen thanksgivings ago we ended up with two turkeys.i cooked both and with one we made up about three dozen dinners in foil tins from the dollar store with the cardboard lids.i also had a few dozen heavy plastic soda cups from the convienance store.i filled a few thermos bottles jugs really,and we went over the bridge to philly.we handed out all the dinners to people on the street who had nothing and nowhere to go.the last guy was funny when we gave him coffee he asked for REAL sugar.all i had was a whole box of sweet n low. in the dinners were turkey stuffing gravy corn mashed potatoes and a roll.after all these years the kids,now adults,still remember it.

maybe thiswouldn't work being BF special but pay for it whereever you are and pick it up at home store? if you live near me i would do it for just a very small fee cause i just like being in the crowds

nobody in my house eats anything different.always the same thing here but I absolutely have to make fresh cranberry sauce.i end up eating it all but it is sooo good!

i am also looking for a watch and i'll tell you what i came up with.i sometimes go to my local kay jeweler store.they have a few watch,moneyclip,key ring combo packs for something like 59 dollars.either gold or silver can't think of the name but it is not junk.they also have lay away.it looks like a nice expensive gift and in reality it really isn't.

well since i am in an all male house(except for my rottie dog she is a girl!) everything i want is strange. i always tell them i want gift cards.they say no cause it is not personal or not a real gift. if it is clothes i want i tell them even clearance,i would get more thaat way.they say no way so they always sped a lot of money on nothing that i will ever use.

i don't know anything about this but i want to get one for my son.wal marts black friday ad has a ventrer 6.5 for 79 dollars and a carrying case for under 10 bucks.if i were to get it i think i would go with the radio shack name versus a no name one for less.i might get the one on black friday also just noticing at k mart the BF special is a memorex 7 inch portable dvd player for 89.99 after rebate.a good name also noticed k mart has venturer items.maybe that name is a new company coming out the dvd player at radio shack on black friday is going to be 59.99

the dollar store is ok for me.i don't like spending a lo of money on non food items.2 rolls for a buck

trust me you're not missing much but when i am short on money it is good to go there:marge:

when i am making dinner and have the oven on i throw in a few potatoes.then when i get dinner squared away i leave the potatoes in as i turn off the oven to get nice and done. when they are cooled i peel them and slice.then i put them in a buttered frying pan and get brown like home fries.when they are starting to get brown i throw in a couple eggs that i whipped up with milk and seasonings. pour over the potatoes and cover.also you can add sausage or bacon cheese whatever.i am trying to make it in the oven tomorrow morning and serve with a touch of hot sauce(taco bell FIRE)

well i usually get our turkey at aldis.9.99 and it is i'd say between 9- 11 pounds.it is butterball.mostly the kids eat it anyway so i figure for 10.00 bucks it's worth it

my son had fun with magnetix.kind of a cross between legos and tinker toys. also bionicles if you got him the whole set with every character would be cool.each set is about 6 dollars.my son liked them til he was like 12 or something

this might be a fun thing throughout the party. tell everyone to bring a gift ,anything but like 5 dollar minimum so everybody will do it.then as they come t the party give them a ticket( you can make them or buy them at the craft store.) then throughout the party every time you ring the bell or something a number is called and that person gets to pick a prize for that hour.

our craft store has the big laundry size wicker baskets.they are plain and are 2.77 i think regular price is 5 dollars or something.get a yard of pink gingham or even multicolored gingham and staple to the basket to form a lining.staple or maybe glue . you could even paint it pink or have pink accents like bows at the handles

well if this could go for grocery stores too i would go to shop rite.i would go straight to the meat and pick up every scrap of beef i could find mostly steaks.target would be my next place
