I bet I saved atleast that amount, especially if I count last year. If I totalled up the actual cost of everything I have purchased and subtracted what I actually paid, my guess would be closer to $2000!

My husband worked for an oil company but just because he made alot of money during the winter with all the overtime neither of us liked it. He would leave at 5am and not get home until 10pm or so and could even get called out in the middle of the night. I know they are raking in some big bucks but still, money isn't everything to some people, so I still feel bad,lol. I'd rather have my husband home at 4pm everyday!

I live an extra 30 minutes round trip from the nearest anything,lol, and I feel so bad somedays when the UPS/Fed Ex/DHL person has to make a trip out here a few times a week. I know it's not easy on their schedule,lol. It is probably a real pain to make this trip to deliver to one person. I have an order from Eastbay through UPS that will be here today and one through amazon.com that will be here tomorrow. They were both in separate parts of Kentucky last night when I checked the tracking. I almost felt like calling and saying "Hey, you have 2 of my packages that are coming 1 day apart if you just want to throw them on the same truck and save a trip...".Anyone else ever have those guilt trips? On a side note, the UPS guy is a regular around here all year long (not on a weekly basis but atleast monthly,lol) so I was thinking about giving him a card with a few scratch off's in it. What do you think?

I still have about 6 people to get something for, just little things though. I don't stop buying stuff for the kids until my last minute in the store before Christmas,lmao. They got a ton of big presents so I'll just keep buying little things and stocking stuffers such as chapstick & earrings,lol. I haven't even started wrapping,lol. If you would see the pile of stuff.... ! I have a few boxes that will take almost one roll of wrapping paper themselves,lol. I will have some excited kids on Monday morning,lol.

My MIL had hers for a year and the one side collapsed on it. It was a king size. The place she bought it at gave her a brand new one to replace it. Maybe it was just that particular establishment? My kids don't seem to mind not having snow for Christmas. I remember being extremely upset if there wasn't snow for Christmas or atleast snow on the ground,lol. I guess I thought that Santa wouldn't come if there wasn't any snow.

I freak out until all of my gifts arrive too! Last yr it was an electric scooter from Dicks. It got here like 2 days before Christmas,lol. Do you have a tracking # that you can check? Checking it every hour usually keeps me calmer,lmao. I hope it works out for you!! Let us know when it arrives!

I just celebrated my youngest DS's 3rd bday on the 12th and my oldest DS's 12th bday is on the 28th so believe me, I feel your pain,lmao. I have 2 DD who are a month apart (July & August) too,lol. I start Christmas shopping in February,lol, that's my secret! We make his bday just as great as the other kids. Just because he gets tons of gifts on the 25th doesn't mean he gets ripped off on his bday,lol. The funny thing is that I asked him one time if it stinks getting all your gifts at once, that it would be better to have them spread out and he said NO! He loves getting all the gifts in the same week,lol. We only do family parties so it might be easier for us too,lol. Good luck with whatever you do!

I personally am very happy with them and thanks to this site, I found tons of great deals for Christmas through amazon.com. I am actually pretty addicted to the site and check it regularly now,lol. I am not mad because I didn't get an xbox 360 for $100, would have loved it but I'm not crying about it,lol. They can't make everyone happy!

Only the ones that have the small magnets that fall out of the end were recalled. Not ALL magnetix are recalled. You could email amazon.com and ask but this is usually the case with all recalled toys!

I don't think these are the recalled ones. They wouldn't be allowed to sell them. They are probably just clearancing these ones out and making new shapes and colors. I think it is a given that you don't let any child that doesn't know better than to put toys in their mouth play with these! It is the parents fault! That is like letting your kid play with dimes.....if they swallow them are you going to sue the government and make them recall the dime?? DUH! If you're kids knows better these are great! If they don't know better (NO MATTER WHAT AGE!) don't buy them!
