You can't download maps or play certain parts of Halo 3 ODST. There are several other things I was told too by some college kids who are serious gamers. Why would you pay $200 anyway then another $60 or more when you can get an elite bundle w/Halo 3 ODST at Kmart on BF for $299? It is your choice what you buy your kids but I personally know over 30 teenage boys and anyone of them will tell you they wouldn't want an Arcade Xbox360. I guess if their parents didn't have money and had to cut corners they'd be happy with anything though. I wouldn't buy a hard drive on ebay either, I heard they are sellin banned/modded ones. I bought the 24pk of rechargeable batteries last yr from batteries.com and was just searching Amazon.com a few hours ago for some deals....but found none,lol. So if you have a PS2 I highly suggest the Singstar & American Idol games! They are a blast and you can play 2 player!

WTH is up with all the XBox deals being arcade versions??? It is driving me nuts! Not only do I think they are basically worthless unless you are spending even more money to get a hard drive but what about all those excited teen boys who want to play COD & Halo only to find out they really can't play everything??? How many parents don't know this and will think they are getting a great deal only to have disappointed kids? Even not counting online game play who wants to get really far in a game and not even be able to save it? I would think Walmart would have a had a good deal similar (maybe even better) to Kmart, but nope, they have the arcade version. So at this point I am either going to get it at Kmart....which I was hoping would come with COD:MW2 and not Halo, or hope for a good Amazon.com bundle deal.

I bought my 3 oldest the portable DVD players 3yrs ago for Christmas and they have only used them a few times. I wouldn't waste the money unless it is something they requested. Even for in the car....they will be driving so they couldn't be watching. I do agree they sound like good kids so I bet they wouldn't want you to spend much. Maybe you could do some things like make a montage of all their pictures from when they were little to the present? My current favorite song for a montage is "Amazing" by Janelle.....you can hear it on youtube.com.
