This is just terrible. I am going to send my Email and give them a call. I do not understand what they are so afraid of. The way I see it getting the ads early help us to better plan our BF, and if the AD sucks and there is nothing that we want from it, then we will not shop at that store period. Doesn't matter how soon or how late we see the ad. I think a PP may have hit it on the head when they said does Walmart know that their AD is not any good and so they want to keep it a secret as long as possible.

Looks like I have one not to far from me and I saw a couple things that looked interesting to me so maybe I will try to get there later in the day. Hopefully they will still have what I want. Anyone ever go there on BF??

I would just wait until Thursay morning. I think it is to risky for you to be out there alone all night and who knows when the next person may come. Maybe if you drive by wed and see people already waiting then you would probably be ok, just because of saftey in numbers, but other than that why risk it.

I have never needed a first aid kit, but I think from now on I am going to wear boots or high top sneakers because last year someone got me in the back of the foot with a shopping cart and it hurt realy bad.

Yeah, it was no where near as crazy as it is now, back then. I also don't remember worrying about whether I was going to get the item I was there for. It seems like they always had more than enough merchandise.

Go home to eat leftovers. Love those ham or turkey sandwiches:gdlicklips: for lunch and then a nap. Later that evening we usually head out to the mall and then back for more leftovers.

I usually go out with my mom. We actually don't like to take to many other people because they are usually not up for it and only want to complain.

Yeah this is a really good deal. They usually sell for about 29.99. My son really loved it when he was a baby.

These are some really great ideas. We always have a ton left so I end up taking them into the office and they usually are gone within a day or two. But I may have to try some of the ideas here especially the pepermint Bark. Can someone please post an easy recipe for this? THANKS!!

Nope I did not know his name was Scut. I thought it was Scott too. and I have watched that movie more times than I can count. I did hear that the father on the movie died last year.

Nothing major just got jammed a couple of times by crazy people and their shopping carts.

Both, I make my list, but I also tend to pick up stuff as I am shopping.

I just love everything about the season. The shopping, the food, the decorating. It is just a great time of year. I can't wait!!

I have been BF shopping for 10 years and have been on GD for 3 years

The year before last I got some good deals at Big Lots and KMART on turkey day. Last year there was not much that I wanted to so I did not go out. Can't wait to get those ads!!

I send them out every year, but I need to get started earlier. I bought a ton at the end of the season from CVS so I have no excuse not to start working on them.

I have found that hanging around here and learning of all the deals helps alot. Also, if there are gift items that you want or need just buy them when you see them and hang on to your reciept so if they go on sale you can try to get some of your cash back. Also I try to be finished by the early December, have no desire to fight it out with the last minute warriors, unless there are some killer deals.

I agree with the previous poster who said that the economy is not so good so I think all the stores are going to have to pull out some awesome deals to get people out spening money.

yeah I am ok with shopping for Mom and those who can't get out, but I will have friends and other relatives who want me to shop for them when they can easily just get up and go themselves. So I usually say if what they want is at a store that I am going to and I can get my hands on it without a lot of hassle then yes I will get it, if not then o well.

I will pick up items for others as long as I am going to that store. I don't go out of my way.
