I have not seen the commercial, but this week's ad contains 25% off lego construction sets shown in the weekly ad (on top bar of their website). HTH.

I normally shop at the Wal-mart in Washington, IL and today the neighborhoods just a stone's throw away were destroyed by a tornado. This is my hometown and I have several friends, former classmates and even the band director who lost their homes. Thankfully my family is ok but I will try a different store this year out of respect for their needs. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season!

Last year there were designated spots to go to get a card for the item. During the designated hour, if the item was still in stock, you would get the item and if they were sold out you would get a ticket to take to the register. You need to pay for the item that night but your item was guaranteed to come in before Christmas Eve. I got one of the blu-ray players last year that way. I did not get the actual item but I received a ticket to bring back. I picked it up a week later.

I'm guessing the only things I need at TRU (Skylanders for DS8 and Infinty for friend's DS7) will NOT be included in the Wednesday pre-sale TRU has disappointed me too many times over the last 2 years to try again most likely.

If it truly is the tablet then that is better than the Nook Color and B&W. I paid $200 for mine on sale 2 years ago so $79 is about the right price now...lol

2 years ago I waited 4 hours for the cheap 32" TV at Walmart that was going to be used as a raffle item for my son's school chili supper. We were in a nicely formed line zig zagged throught the cosmetics when a lady came up at the moment they would start releasing the tvs and tried to take one out of my hands. It became a mob mentality with 50 people behind me yelling at this woman...she started going after the couple behind me as I ducked under her and ran to the cash register with a TV that I didn't even get to enjoy!

My store was also putting things out and they are open tomorrow (24 hr store)

There is a regular DVD and a Blu-Ray in the packaging so yes one of the two discs would work on a regular DVD player.

I missed the Hot Wheels deal yesterday and got on the wait list...missed it and 2nd time on the wait list it took over an hour. You have to figure that some of the wait list people give up too. If you have the time it's worth the wait!

Mine said it was delivered too! Only came from Indy which is about 2 hours away but still super impressed

If you don't get the item you want right away, try putting yourself on the wait list. I did it twice for the Hot Wheels Terrain Twister (kept leaving my office to do actual work!) and I got it the 2nd time around. First time said I was #137 on list then #119 on list but I got it! The Lorax 2 disc with Blu Ray was gone in 3 minutes but then the wait list was in effect. Just be persistant! Hope my phone works fast enough on Thursday for the next ones I need!

I hadn't even considered this as a possiblity until just now...as long as it's not the 3G one it's the same as the BB ad...Walmart has the Wi-fi for the same regular price as BB before the discount...hmmm...I've got a $100 bill burning a hole in my pocket as my Christmas present I promised I would spend on something for me and not my son...it's totally worth a shot to try :)

I was in my Target today and they had several items out already. I saw about 150 of the video rockers in the women's PJ area and probably 50 each of the music keyboard and drum set in menswear. The boxes of dvds were set up too and people had peeled back the cardboard packaging to peek inside already! I want a video rocker but won't be there at opening so the quantity was good to see...let's see if they are still there at 530 lol

I got my adjustment on the DSi and even checked and they had like 6 left in the case still...will be going back tomorrow and may buy another for a raffle item for a school event. But won't be terribly disappointed if they are gone cause I got mine :)

No just keep the book they were sent in and return the book with the packing slip. When you rent the book you are given the date they need to be returned by...for example I rented my books on Jan 8th and they needed to be returned by May 28th. Plenty of time to wrap up the class and a few addtl procrastination weeks :) No additional charge for returning books.

I rent most of my textbooks from chegg.com Great prices. If you go to campusbooks.com and enter the ISBN of the book you are looking for, they will do the research for you and give you the lowest prices of sites and also the highest prices for book buy backs.
