I don't know if it's been mentioned but tons of women's tights were marked down today. Have any NJ perusers seen that Black & Decker can/ jar opener around? I checked Linden, Watchung, and Union today and came up with nothing.

Two of my local targets just got rid of lots of curtain rods. You might want to check your local goodwill.

Throw them out? Well that's just pure waste! The lightbulb went on when I saw a woman at Target packing up the Feb. mags but now that light is starting to fade. I was hoping they would end up discounted on a store shelf somewhere. I really don't care about what star is dating who or pregnant or whatever but some mags have good recipes and such that I wouldn't mind getting. Oh well. There's always google.

My can opener just konked out on me. Very frustrating since I passed on the Black and Decker ones a few weeks ago. My local store says limited availablility so I'm hopeful.

This is more of a possible deal discussion but at the end of every month, stores are left with lots of magazines that get replaced with the new months. Does anyone know what happens to them? It would be great to get some magazines at a discount even it they're old. There are always deals for dirt cheap subsriptions but with a 3 and a 4 yr old, a magazine every month might just be more than I can handle. It takes me weeks to get through the sunday paper as it is .

Did you check the razor aisle? 2 of my targets don't even have them on the endcaps anymore but there are tons hanging up with the rest of the razors.

You know, I think I saw them at the Union store this morning but I didn't even think about getting them discounted. I'm sure that would be a YMMV depending on the cashier you get.

I dunno, It might not be any different than any other gift card that needs to be activated before it can be used. If you call the company, there's no proof that the card was actually purchased instead of just picked up from the shelf. Maybe try another target?

I found an Easy Link Launchpad today and it scanned INF. Walked around trying to remember the 75% off price so I could play the name my price game and brought it to the register. Of course it beeped and the cashier looked all over the box and found a red sticker on it that said $17.xx. I told her I know those went cheaper and she said "I'm not losing my job by making up prices. You want it?" I took it anyway and I guess I'll try my luck at CS tomorrow. I know they don't to PA on clearance but this would be more of a correction than an adjustment right:blush:

They were. $14.98 I think. I was at the Watchung store today also and didn't notice them there.

I was at the Clark store this morning and they had about 5 on an endcap near housewares. I was tempted but I thought it might encourage me to get more toys.

You know, I sent Target cs an e-mail about 2 weeks ago about the increasing number of pricing discrepancies in the store. I shop there about 2x's/week and each time, I run into pricing errors. I also worked in retail for years and I know to read shelf tags and compare UPC's or sku's on the tag to the shelf etc... Target just doesn't seem to be keeping up with the changes fast enough. About a month ago, they must have raised the price of Halls cough drops from .97 to $1.48. When they rang up for the higher price a month ago, the cashier changed the price, no problem. I mentioned it in the e-mail I sent and even pointed it out to an ee in that dept. I was there on Sunday and the shelf tag is STILL wrong. I think you were absolutely correct in trying to dispute the price. The displayed price was misleading and that's that. For the "manager" to disrespect you on top of that of that is just uncalled for. Sorry you had to go through that.
