I would like to think that there will be a lot of them out there, but, it has been shorted over the last three Christmases. Why would this year be any different? I'm not trying to panic you, but I'd feel safer if you got it now and were able to stock up on accessories as the holiday gets nearer. You know they're gonna have killer deals on the extra controllers, games and other bits and pieces that will go with it. :) -Mike

As an employee in a family run, independant hobby shop, I take my cues from the big boys when it comes to promotion, and when it is appropriate to introduce the holidays to my customers. I think I have to find our tree when I go to work tomorrow...

On XM it's only two weeks and a day til they (normally) kick off their holiday channels. I'd be really surprised if we didn't start hearing it in malls and stores soon as well...they're going to pull out every stop to get you panicked about the shopping season. -Mike

I use Tracfone and love it. I bought a phone when they were running a promotion that doubles all the minutes I buy for it for the lifetime of the number/contract. I've purchased minutes for it twice, got 200 minute cards at $40 each, and added in minutes from deals they run regularly on their site. I've had the thing since September, and it's been fantastic! -Mike

just so you folks know. If you got in on one of the phones that doubles your minutes when you add minutes to your phone, you can still use the codes. They will not double the bonus minutes, but, you will get the bonus minutes added on! -Mike
