  1. I'm uncertain as to where to post this on the forum, so decided to do so here... Is anyone else a fan of Olive Garden's Never Ending Pasta Pass? OG posted on their Facebook page today, apparently with cryptic hints regarding it to be sleuthed out. I'm terrible at that sort of thing, but I think they're hinting at 24K passes being available on August 15th at 2:00. Since there is what I think is a University of Central Florida pennant on the wall, I'm guessing it means eastern time. ...but, this is strictly my guess. If anyone else is better at deciphering this sort of thing, please take a look and let us know?
  2. California King is my preference. Narrower sides with more leg room.
  3. Fun! Speaking of extras, did the person who received the gift card last year ever post about receiving it? If so, I never saw the post. Who got it?
  4. All of Len's recipes are superb. My only other suggestion is to follow the advice of J. Kenji López-Alt of The Food Lab, and dust the wings the night before with baking powdee. Air dry overnight in the fridge, and then follow Len's method. Kenji's article is for oven fried wings, but the prep is the same. https://www.seriouseats.com/2010/02/the-best-baked-buffalo-chicken-wings-in-oven-not-fried-appetizers.html
  5. My week is actually looking up. I've been getting more gigs with the schools, so I should have a little money coming in at the end of next month. And Beorn's father bought Beorn a round trip airline ticket for a two week visit starting the night of the 25th! My roommates and I are going to need to get used to having a fourth person in the house again. But, it's been a few years since Beorn and I have visited, so I'm excited! B"H, my health is currently in a good place, after the issues of the past several years. We should be able to focus on just being together, without concerns overwhelming the visit.
  6. *pout* I don't have that many. I think I have three, because of the forum hiatus I took for a few years. ah, well.
  7. And you're not given a hassle about bringing it in?
  8. I love the idea of a folding chair which can be packed up and brought in store. I have no BF support team, and generally just stand while in line, as I don't want to lose my place to put a chair away.
  9. Wow, I'm honored! I received this via the My Chart app from one of the nurses at my reconstructive surgeon's office. I knew my surgeon was really pleased with my results via keto, but didn't expect to become a mentor for others. "Good Morning Pam, Dr. Colohan has a new patient who would like to speak with another patient about their experience with DIEP reconstruction and starting the Ketogenic diet. Would you be willing to share your experience with another patient? If so, please let us know if you would prefer email or a call. Take care,"
  10. Although it's a PITA to do for the two bottles worth of tincture, I have excellent results using BioAllers homeopathic tictures. Two bottles worth prevents me from reacting to tree pollens for about three to eight years. Same with their other tinctures I use. I cycle through the regimen of doing the tinctures as my symptoms start reappearing at the appropriate season. I love the years I'm totally symptom free.
  11. Home from surgery. This was basically clean up of the reconstruction. I had back fat left behind from the mastectomy and fat and tissue grafts which has hardened due to rejection removed, and areas filled in around the breasts via liposuctuon from my inner thighs. I'm in a lot more pain than I expected, as I thought I would be able to work tomorrow. But, I can barely lift either leg, due to the pain. When I attempt to walk, I'm basically dragging my left leg. Hopefully that will improve tomorrow... Thanks for the prayers and healing thoughts!
  12. Follow up surgery to my reconstruction scheduled for tomorrow. Prayers and positive thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
  13. Mazal Tov v' Chag Pesach Sameach!(Congratulations and Happy Passover)
