  1. I have no idea which Target stores are selling the Video Now Player at this cost. I received the ad in my Sunday paper today here in Mississippi. There also was a tent, chair, rolling carrying case, flashlight, and thermos set in it for $14.00.
  2. I am a Fred's Dollar Store queen lol. I also go there on Saturdays to double coupons up to 70 cents. They are opening up at 5AM on BF. If anyone knows the store Kirklands, Fred's and Kirklands are owned by the same company. You can get items such as chenille throws, the wicker trunks, and antique replica furniture at Fred's very cheap. Some of their prices are cheaper than Wal-Mart.
  3. BF is a tradition to many people. We just represent a few of the population that enjoy the shopping and holiday spirit. I think many will thank you for the advice and take it in consideration. Happy Holidays!
  4. Ok, I went to my local 24 hour Wal-Mart today to PM the Color Video Now Player that is in today's Target paper for $49.99, Wal-Mart's price was $62.96. I went to the layaway department with it and they told me that Wal-Mart no longer lets you put PM idems on Lay-away. The manager told me that you cannot put any items on lay-away with a PM ad!!!!! So I went ahead and paid for it. So everyone might want to check their stores policy. Black Friday if you want to PM you might not be able to put those things on layaway. Target also had the Vsmile VTech machines for 49 and Wal-MArt had them for 59.
  5. Mendenhall, Mississippi single with an 8 yr old daughter, with an open mind I enjoy this site better because the others are very hard to navigate in my opinion. This site is also more involved than the others. I have my hopes up for Black Friday, but not too high yet. My daughter and I love Christmas and BF gets us in the holiday spirit. I always use coupons. Especially at Fred's Dollar Store here. They double coupons up to $1.00. I can go there and get health and beauty aides for free. My bill today was $27 before coupons and $13 when I got through. Also today I got a Black & Decker Cafe' coffee pot with the automated timer for $11.34 at Freds. So I guess you can say yes a forum on coupons would be great.
  6. Here if you can stand it 3AM. We go in groups. That way one person stand in line while the others get to stay in the car where the heat is. And then we alternate turns. Around time to go in we all stand in line together.
  7. In Mississippi most of the department stores open at 6AM. The Wal-Mart here is 24 hours, but the sales start at 6AM. Target here opens at 6. KayBee here opens at 6. TRU opens at 5.
  8. Here McRaes Departemnt stores have a cracker jack sale. When they open the door you get a cracker jack box and inside is a coupon for anywhere between 10% and 75% off all of your purchases for the day. We usualy try and go there for the appliance sales. They also have BF sales through out the store.
  9. If you think about it why in the world would Wal-Mart not want to cash in on BF. That could cause a major drop in sales for the Christmas season. I think, like everyone else, this is not all of the ad or else just a rumor. Lets all cross our fingers!
  10. If this ad is true Wal-Mart is not trying to draw alot of cumstomers on BF. I also agree with what someone else said about the DVD players. That is a bit high considering what everyone else is advertising.
  11. So Wal-Mart will PM on BF? Does anyone know if they will price match ads like TRU or Kaybee?
  12. Well the best deal I ever got on BF was the My size Barbie for $79.99. This was a couple of years ago. Last year I got a pair of Tommy jeans for $19.99 at McRaes. Today I got an 8.5 foot prelit Christmas Tree for $15.00!!! I know that is not a BF sale, but hey it was a deal of the century.
  13. The reason I don't grab them when I get there is because they have ropes around all of the items on sale for BF. Employees walk around all morning and if you have any of the items in your shopping cart before 6:00A.M. they will reach in and take the items out of your cart. At 6:00 A.M. they will drop the ropes and winners take all. Does anyone know if anymore Wal-Mart's do this?
  14. For the last two years my mom, a friend, and myself go to our local Super Wal-Mart and get there about 4AM. That way we are inside out of the cold, we have a great parking place, and we get to see where everything is located. What we do is everyone goes and stands by the thing we want most and grab how many ever we need at 6AM. Last year we were in checkout by 6:30A.M. and out the door by 7:00. As a tradition my mom use to take me and my three sisters to the mall for the BF sales. That always kicked off our Christmas. My dad would stay home and get all of the Christmas decorations out of storage. That way when we got back we could start decorating the house. Ok Now I am weepy eyed about memories

    Hot toys

I have been checking our Wal-Mart lately here in Mississippi for toy ideas. I have noticed that the Cabbage Patch dolls are stocked more than usual. There were two shelves full in the toy section and in the Christmas section there were loads more. I asked a friend of mine that works there and she told me to look for the toys that were in numerous volumes on higher shelves and that would most likely be the BF sale items. She also said more than likely that Cabbage Patch dolls were suppose to be on sale BF. I went ahead and got one just in case!! Anyone heard anything about Wal-Mart's ad yet? That is the only store around here unless you travel 45 minutes.
